My breaks are starting to feel a little weird also, it's engaging a bit lower then usual, checked my break fluid all good going to check my break pads tmrw. Wondering what kind of break pads you got and how much did you spend ?
love the videos. but why not just buy z32 rear calipers they are like 100bucks with pads plus 40 for the lines. right there is 150. plus ur upgrading so really ur saving ur self money instead of going oem which is good sometimes but if u took the time to bleed ur brakes already u might as well add new bigger and better brakes.
thought about it. But at this point Im sick of not being able to drive the car. its a decent job and I don't want to have to do any more messing around.
You still have to have the backing plates and R33 ebrake cables if you want to keep the e-brake, unless you run custom knuckles that have a dual caliper setup, but then you gotta buy two sets of calipers and pads.
just by your mechanical practice of fumbling the turbo on with some string instead of doing it properly and removing the manifold to ensure proper torquing and even mounting I can already take a guess where 90% of the problems stem from. install/user error. this is common with backyard mechanics and where all the difference is made with successful shops/pros who build race cars and joes who are always troubleshooting project cars. The motivation is good, but do it right and things won't be as bad! I could even go as far to say none of these weird little problems would be an issue had you went with what you might have been trying to avoid in the first place - a higher tier method of turboing the car. instead of an isis turbo kit and an enthalpy reflash or some piggy back /safc what have you mated to some dustry crusty wiring, Time and time again the real solution will always be - Stand alone ECU and fresh wiring harness. Quality turbo. quality kit - usually pieced together yourself.
