I drove down to this same park in Kingwood not even a month ago and it looked almost exactly the same. Not quite as high but still only accessible through the entrance.
With all the development cutting trees down, what do you expect! The whole area is sand so you built your house and businesses and shopping centers on sand congratulations you geniuses. I’ve lived in new Caney before Kingwood was even built. Keep cutting down trees you will be living in your own little lake Porter / new caney…

How often does Houston flood. ppl still don’t know that water isn’t clean or safe to be casually letting kids play in 😢 Would hate to be first responders this week smh
I’ll never understand why educated won’t pronounce words properly As Jacinto is pronounced San Hacinto the J is pronounced with an H sound instead of Jacinto
True. But the politicians don't care. You may say it has nothing to do with them, but if they denied permission to build in certain places, natural water courses will not be blocked. The home insurance people are also happy. Look out for rising insurance premiums! It's a mess all around

Millions and millions of tax payer dollars were placed into a grant after Harvey to find a solution for how to handle all the water from Conroe when they open the dam. Where did all that money go? Last I read, the city was still in the “planning” phase. It’s a scam and the residents are going to pay the price - again
