I think the best part about hearing these tracks slowed is hearing the voice sound more human than in the original, it gets me so much more emotional for some reason?
I love reading through everyone's comments, but there's something that I notice everyone seems to fail to pay attention to when discussing the song, and that's the lyrics. You'd fit perfectly to me, We'd end our loneliness, Melt this curse away Though I'll never know your name I'll cry for you the same Melt this curse away Cry for you the same The frozen white noise static snow That is your memory Although I know we'll never meet You're ever part of me You'd fit perfectly to me, We'd end our loneliness, Melt this curse away Though I'll never know your name I've cried for you the same Porter himself has stated that they are about that one person out there who matches you perfectly as a love interest (though he said it also applies to friends in general) and that despite the chances of ever meeting them are next to none, they're still a part of your life in some way, and they're who you long for when you're lonely. If you look closely, the signs are there.
So, for someone out there. Who perfectly fit to me. Who can end my loneliness. I probably will never know your name. But I'll cry for you the same. Melt this curse away, will you? GAME SAVED
Ooh I imagined a story for this one: An AI was made and befriends the creator's daughter, but only speaks to her. Because of this, all of the scientists think the AI is broken and a waste of programming. One day they decide to delete it, against the daughter's wishes. Right as their finger hovers above the delete button, it sings. But it was too late. The daughter caresses it as it is wiped from this world
From while to while I visit this videos since they were part of great past memories with old friend, which aren't along anymore. Sometimes I think what could've been if we stayed together. Such a happy nostalgia, indeed. I hope everyone is doing well.
