It sounds like the melody to Get Your Wish at around 1:00 but I know Porter Robinson said it was an idea he had while playing the piano. Either way, it seems as if this collab idea helped inspire those two to make the songs we now enjoy. Its so interesting honestly.

Well this was originally for an album they were making in 2016 that was scrapped. And gyw was made on paino in 2016 sooo....

That's from few years ago leaks of Porter's Dropbox. I got my hand on it, and most of the stuff in here were 100% legit, i'd be surprised if this one is fake. The last drop is so Madeonish, to real to be fake ^^

It really doesn't though... like at all? Not saying that to be a dick just really confused how you are picking that up.... good faith avoids this kind of big bassy EDM sound... you can even see that he specifically steers away from it in his re-edits of the Adventure tracks in the live show

Andrew Kassab I guess that’s true, but also when I hear this song i hear that idea of a beautiful, joyful, happy reality. And the phrase “praise for that” matches that to imo. That’s what I meant by aesthetic.

I've answered this question quite a lot now lmao. But basically, it happened back when one of Porter's servers got hacked by an unknown assailant who then proceeded to dump everything online. Some of the songs were samples for sound packs he was making, others were songs his friends made, some were even scraps of his own finalized works. Several channels on RU-vid then took these audio clips and uploaded them around before getting taken down pretty swiftly. I managed to download the entire file dump, including some songs not posted on this channel or by others on RU-vid, mainly because they are too short, or don't even sound like songs. The names titled to the songs are based on the ones in the original leak, so I have no way of confirming or denying them. Eventually, Porter stated he had no relation to them and thus anyone can do with them as they please. However, Porter used two sound clips from the file dump in his Second Sky concert, which kinda hints at the fact he had a relation to them, at least at one point.

Looking at the leak it is now known at least two of the songs released weren't his, though no one knows which two. The rest are either scraps or projects he was working on with friends.

@@jjjoshiii6659 Sound for lonely people and it's sister song 'Song for You' ended up being used by Porter's during his official performance on Second Sky, so many have speculated those to be the real ones as they where leaked before that performance. As for sampling, people extract and make samples of common songs all the time so the sample pack would have to have been released before 2017/2013.

Read into it there's more than it seems, the songs are actually either made by porter, his friends, or where from a company he's was working with. Nevertheless though, the songs are unique and have left an impact on people. In the end the name attached shouldn't matter, the music and how it makes you feel should.
