Here is the best thing that happened to me a few days ago: I was on the bus to go back to my home from school and I was depressed at the bad grade I had taken in the last test. Then I discovered that today's driver was a bit special: I had started to hear a familiar melody, and by hearing hearing I had noticed that it was this song. Then my favorite songs from the Worlds album, then Shelter and after that even Get Your Wish ... Then when I was about to get off the bus I asked the driver about everything that happened, he said that Porter was his idol. After a little chat I found out that it had many things we like of each other and we became good friends! Thanks a lot Porter :)

I remember being a dj that loved playing out hard electro/complextro back in 2010 and finding this song before it blew up on beatport. I knew it was too good to be a hidden gem and that it would pop off soon, but I had no idea how incredible of an artist Porter would be. I have looked forward to every single release of his since then. Every song and project is so unique and revolutionary. So proud of what this guy has become.

Porter made this song at 17 and it hit #1 on Beatport just after he turned 18. I'm 18 and just graduated from high school. I've done nothing. I'm gonna fucking cry now. (Edit: Oct. 24th, 2016) This has so many likes that I did not expect. Thank you so much to those of you who replied so supportively. And to those who relate to my comment, thank you for not making me feel like I'm the only one who feels like I can't do anything. I turn 19 in less than a week and I've been trying demos of FL Studio and Sylenth1 since then. I'm considering taking college classes for this since I get lost in the program itself. I'm having fun with it while I can, though. It's so heartbreakingly complex to use but I really want to put in effort and time to it. I want to make the hard-hitting complextro sounds that influences me, with my own ideas and concepts about living in today's world. Porter, if you're reading this: Thank you, because all of your music is beautiful. Be it Worlds or Spitfire; As long as I can hear the hard work put into it, I love every second of it. ♡
