Porting our Eaton M90 Supercharger For Project F (L67 Supercharged Camaro Build!)

In this video I show the process we take to port our 3rd gen Eaton M90 for Project F. First we bore out the intake to 75mm to accept the northstar V8 throttle body adapter. We then port the outlet of the supercharger for more flow. This effectively matches the efficiency of the gen 5 m90. We also show the ported lower intake manifold.

I have been down the same road man, stressed air compressor , sand rolls, and finger blasting ports with 2k sand paper good time!

The hole you mentioned doesnt go anywhere might be where the 1996 blower case has a vacum T fitting. My 1996 park ave ultra has a fitting there with 3 vacuum lines that a 01 blower case isnt drilled and tapped for

What tool did you use to port the super charger ? Just a angle grinder ?

I know its a bit late now but u can cut the lim with a metal bladed jig saw .but good job on the blower i think the pros use a mill to achieve that finish.

Thats a good idea for the LIM, I don't have a jig saw but that would make it much simpler.

I’m doing a turbo I wonder if I can remove the underside of the blower for more airflow.

As long as the snout portion of the blower is blocked off you can gut the whole thing

what would be tbe diffrence an porting both manifold and sc?? and would i need to take off the snout ??

You’d want to remove the snout and rotors to keep them clean. Porting both will allow it to flow more, you’ll see less boost but it will be more efficient. You can put a smaller pulley on to make more

Unless you're gonna cut part of the firewall back somehow, your not going to be able to fit a 180⁰ tubing bend on the back. Cap off the inlet and cut a 2.5" hole in the inlet neck on passenger side and weld a 2.5" aluminum pipe in place. I've seen a few and they've all had to do the same thing. Check this link out. Cutting the supercharger is definitely something we've considered. We have couple different things to try

You can pretty much anything work with anything if you have the time and money. I suspect the M90 supercharger would be too small for a hemi though. You'd probably want a whipple, something 2.3l or bigger.

If you top swap the N/A engine you will need the gen3 S/C, lower intake and the heads from a 3800 series 2 or 3 (L67/L32) due to the injector ports moving from the intake to the heads. Understand with a top swap compression will be higher so you will need to run a smaller pulley than a GTP with the same modifications. You will also need the 36lbs injectors, fuel rail, twin belt balancer and the idler and tension pulleys for the second belt.

@whacky pax yes they do and the lower intake manifold is modified to accept the injectors that also come with the kit. If you use the L67 heads, I believe that's where the lower compression comes from if I'm not mistaken due to larger compression chambers.

Yeah there are certainly better examples out there but this should still work well. Pretty good for a first attempt!
