Portuairk Beach is a beach with rocky outcrops near the Crofting village of Portuairk. Portuairk Beach is on the Ardnamurchan peninsula in the Western Highlands of Scotland. In this landscape photography video I photograph the beautiful rocks at Portuairk beach at sunset looking towards the stunning Sanna beach and the Islands of Eigg, Muck and Rum. Whilst in pursuit of some of my favourite landscape photography in a long time, I encounter my first experience with common seals making this a very memorable landscape photography vlog.

A very pretty place. I think I would be flapping round trying to capture everything ! The first photo is my favourite, I like the colours

Thank you very much. It was amazing, I didn't know it existed. I was photographing near by and just decided to move to the coast for sunset. I wish now I'd have done it the other way around, It is so beautiful there. I was flapping around too, I was out of breath for most of the video. It was only luck that we had a pink afterglow which gave about another 30 mins of light.

I think you worry too much about it being short and rushed. Short videos that don't spend a lot of time dawdling are great when you only have time to watch something quick. Beautiful location and photos as well.

Thank you very much Michelle. I try to aim for around 10 minutes as that's not too long or too short. However on this occasion I was worried about not even getting that and not getting enough good photos. But you are right, I needn't have worried as it was such a beautiful place and the light was great, I could just set the camera up in one place and videoed 10 mins of the sun going down.
