Here is episode 2 of my flying holiday out in Portugal. In this episode we flew the worlds fastest microlight, The Shark.
The Shark holds the microlight world speed record of 303kmh and is currently involved in another ecord as 19 year old Zara Rutherford flies one around the solo.
We flew formation with the only other Shark in Portugal.

Beautiful airplane, proven in its round the world journey by Zara Rutherford, at the extremes of temperature.

Glad you liked it! It was a bit strange because I was trying to look around Paulo. I sat in the front seat on the ground and the view is alot better

Absolute beginner enthusiast question : does the sun burn the skin? Did you use sun cream? Is the window enough?

Awesome, want one. It's crazy that they are called Microlights, they are more complex than a C172, a lot more fun and a lot cheaper I presume.

The FAA is an dysfunctional waste of an organization when it comes to general aviation. All they had to do was just duplicate the European model for light sport. More weight like 1800 gross and everything else the same as European model.

Looks like your are having a lot of fun, but the low level stuff is what accidents are made of. Read the accident databases and you’ll see that the top cause of crashes is “maneuvering”, in other words, buzzing, low level flying, steep turns at low altitude. Hate to see you become a statistic bro.

Appreciate it mate! not something I do often. I now do Aerobatics and that has thought me so much about being high and safe
