I don't have any knowledge about the history of Portugal.. but I seem to have a little bit of it now.. but I want to ask something. I was reading the Herodotus Quran and then I saw the "Rûm" surah in the Quran. "Rum" means Greek, and it was written in the Quran that the Greeks, who were defeated by the Persians, would win again. So I decided to research Greek history again. I started with Archaic Greece, but Archaic Greece is semi-historical. There are archaeological excavations, but it is often difficult to correlate the changes or trends revealed by physical remains with the events recorded in the texts. I searched for the writings of Thucydides and *Herodotus*. and anyway, I found some stuff, but I was curious about the sources you looked at for an even more detailed result. Do you know any bibliography or PDF files? because I'm preparing for an exam and.. you know.or the text of an article with good summaries on this subject
The best introduction to ancient Greek history ''A Short History of Ancient Greece by Sarah B. Pomeroy''. A very adequate study for your exam and a good to start.
In fact, Roman does not mean Greek, because Roman is a general term. Turks, on the other hand, call the Greeks living in Anatolia Greeks, but only because they were a people living under the Roman Empire.
@@NonHerodotus "Rum"It is a name used by Arabs to describe the people consisting of Greeks, Slavs and Romans of Latin origin But yes, it has also been translated into Turkish
