Travel to Positano Italy with me. I spent 5 days in Paradise on the Amalfi Coast which was more than enough time to check off all the items on my bucket list including beach days at Fornillo & Spiaggia Grande, dining at the best restaurants, finding the best spots for aperitivo, and more! I have just discovered your You Tube channel....and it didn't disappoint. I feel like I've just had a mini break on my sofa!! So nice to find a really authentic vlog, and a couple who actually enjoy the food (and drinks) rather than just a super healthy and scenic insta vlog!!) Great to see a true tourist experience covering all ranges of price points, and chatting with the locals. Can't wait until I can travel to Italy again. Bravo.....definitely subscribing

We definitely love to share our true experience together as authentically as possible while showing a destination for what it's meant to be enjoyed as. We are big foodies and enjoy an adult beverage. The very charming place for gelato at 21:00 minutes is "Posides Cafe", a few meters up the road from "Da Vincenzo" restaurant, on the left. They also have some great looking pastries.

Hi Dana! Just wanted to say how crazy it was to see you walking down the Piazza dei Mulini in Positano! My wife & I went for our 25th anniversary and over the last few months watched all of your Amalfi videos & really enjoyed your sensible and informative content. I think it was Sunday June 26th about halfway down & said 'Hi Dana- thanks for the videos'. We were just walking into a little bottle shop & deli when I saw you, and thought 'no way...' but looked again & saw your BF w/ you and know it was you for sure so wanted to say hello. I hope it didn't freak you out! It's scary world, but I really did want to thank you. We had an amazing time even walked up and visited Hotel Poseidon for a possible future stay based on your review. We stayed and Hotel Bucca di Bacco and really enjoyed it. No pool, but the view was incredible as was the room and service. Hope you guys had an amazing time also! Next time you are on the AC you should check out Torre Normanna Restaurant over in Maiori. Of our 26 days in Italy it was the most spectacular view and best food as well.

Tagliata was one of the best meals of my life. Unreal. My only regret was not realizing that we weren't paying "per bottle" of wine, so when they kept bringing out new bottles my inner poor kid was like, "oh no, guess we have to finish this one too!" (facepalm.) I remember up until the cannelloni...and it was perfection. Haha.

I really loved this Dana. We spent 3 or 4 days in positano in 2018. Blew me away. We ate at a few of the same places and went in the same shops. Even went up to La Tagliata ( which was a real highlight) - anyway , loved this vlog. Loved how chilled the whole video was. So many tourists just rush rush and miss the whole vibe of the place.

I totally agree with you! every time we go back we stay longer and longer there's no way you can have the full experience in a day trip or even a few days. It's taken us a few times to go back and stay longer to really get the vibe.

Love this video! Our trip to Positano/Rome was canceled this May, rebooked for next May 2022. We are staying at a vrbo near Le Sirenuse for a week and will be doing some day trips from there. We then go to Rome for three days. Can’t wait to see your next video :)

That vintage Fiat is actualy famous Fića produced in ex Yugoslavia for Fiat, it was known as Yugoslavian car cause of it's number in that ex state, when I see Fića it wakes up sweetest emotions from the past

It's easy on the eyes ,a gem to look at , for visitors but if elderly it looks to be hard to live and find ways to navigate the hills and terrains ,is there a food Mart or if all people must drive too. How is it possible ,can a next video explain some questions on this subject ,it is just a georgous view thou I wonder how it sustained to work,shop,travel,ect ,not being negative ,but inquisitive about information.great video ,to a long happy and healthy life. I'm assuming it is very reliant on visitors to function .great video .the beach is priceless. Greeks and Italians are so much alike.🙂 This a one of a kind .

Visited Italy one week ago. I was at Sorrento Positano and Amalfi. Although I visited napoli rome and castellamare. My thoughts about visiting Italy is ok. Italians Don't speak English at all. Even one word. That was the most difficult part when I needed help. Thanks god GPS was my best friend. The other things was when you're a tourist they are trying to steal even your last penny. I understand that when they charged us 20 euro for 2 minutes by taxi. And in every restaurant they charged us for coperto( something like a service charge) and they charged that only the tourists. We was renting rooms for 100 eur per night not even good ones. Although is good to visit it for one time. Sorrento and Amalfi was magical. Rome and Pompeii is like a live museum cities much to see but not more than two days. You will get bored. Food was awful everywhere was selling pizza and pasta. God I was get Sick of eating the same every single day. Gelato ice-cream was good.i Don't think Italians are warm people. Some of them was trying to help but some of them was really creepy tho. Anw I don't think I will visit again Italy but I didn't regret visited.

Hi Carol, yes Elizabeth is a dear friend and Luisa and her family are new friends and it was lovely to see how they create all of the amazing pieces including the Aprons all made with love. Glad you got to have a piece of that in your own home from them.

I took a train from Rome to Salerno, then a ferry from Salerno to Positano. Not as cost efficient as your route, but pretty easy. The port in Salerno the ferries are on is only a 5 minute walk from the Salerno train station.
