Welcome to the next episode of a RU-vid series I'm calling "Bobby Harrison's Lickorama". I make no excuses for the cheesy name. The aim is to give you regular, short lick-based guitar lessons in a variety of styles.
This week, we take a look at a more modern blues idea, incorporating slides.

Incidentally, I'm left handed, but I horizontally flip my tuition videos in order to make them easier for most "normal" people to follow.

You should really show the *underlying pentatonic pattern* (G maj pentatonic? G min pentatonic?) for any given lick, for orientation & reference before digging in.

Our online course delves deep into the harmony and theory behind everything I teach. The purpose of these free RU-vid videos is to present short licks and ideas. When making videos such as these, it’s not possible to cater to every level of player, so one has to assume a certain level of scale knowledge or technique.

Might be a good opportunity for you to promote the course though if you casually say “if you want to know more about the underlying scale patterns behind this lick, be sure to check out my full course in the description section.”
