I feel so blessed each time I listen to geshe la's teaching online. Maybe I have some karmic connection with him which is why his voice and teachings both instantly bring joy and clarity in me. Long live geshe la for the sake of all students of Buddhism. Thank you geshe la.
Well done sisters and brothers of Himalaya, the final refuge and protector of buddha-dharma. I am blessed to be part of it .. jullay and tashi delak to all
I accidentally came across one of the talks given by ghesela during this lockdown period and around same time simultaneously I was also reading a book - old path white clouds by thich hann nath- the combination of these two teachings has been profound for my soul. After understanding lot of questions I had in my mind as a buddhist, I feel so blessed and grateful to have heard geshela’s talk and it’s been past 2 days I have been researching more on his talks. It’s been a wonderful experience and have shared to as many friends and family members as possible so that they may also understand the true nature of life and the power of kindness and compassion! It’s been an enriching experience and as I pray every morning, I continuously re-listen to his preachings so that I can concentrate and develop the determination to make effort to follow his teachings. I sincerely wish to offer my gratitude, prayers and thoughts for this wonderful teaching. The simplicity of your expression of words and the examples you share makes the subject more easy to understand thus making the entire learning heart warming! Hope I get to meet you some day and take your blessings 🙏🏻 in person. Also I wish to extend the Library team for such wonderful work! Thank you so much, From sikkim!
Father’s Day,Mother Day brings sadness to million of kids who are badly treated by their parents, wonder how those kids can develop love towards their parents and can celebrate fathers/mother day.
(32:17) "When you reflect on the preciousness of this life and that there is not much time in this life to do good things -- when you make your mind habituated with this then your obsession towards this life will be removed. " Thank you :) We need to talk about the process of incarnating and reincarnating a lot more in our western English-language conversations.
In the last, the boy came for vote of thanks he said we are tibbten by culture and Indian by political reason. My fried based upon historical and archeological evidence whole India was buddhist country but after Aryans came india they destroyed Buddhist culture from India and established brahman dharma.
Tashi delek geshela but with due respect you are just scratching the surface and not going all the way to give gud feed backs.... mostly to the question raised ....
You don't need a Lama or some kind of Guru 2 talk about the importance of a positive attitude. Any life coach I can tell you that. The kind of sentiments being expressed here are all over the place, hundreds of RU-vid channels on positive thinking. It's kind of ironic here because Tibetan Buddhism or any of the major schools of Buddhism instruct you to think about the negative side of existence so that you become detached from the pleasures and desires of the world.
Funny you don't need a Guru but you need a life coach. 😂😂😂 Forget what you think the meaning of Guru is, all it comes down to is a spiritual friend. And if you find a Guru who sees himself as something more than a friend, run the other way. I don't think Buddhism is negative it's just realistic. Sounds like you want to be spoon fed some sugar coated fantasy land stuff.
Geshe-la here is talking about the Bodhi mind, I would be interested to know who these other teachers are on RU-vid? What precisely are they saying that you think is identical to this subject mater.
Starting from William James there has been a great influence from Buddhism on western Psychology. Where do you think these life coaches learned these attitudes from?
