I remember someone , with more than 200 watches in his collection..... all Presidents and Datejust (around 12 or 15 genuine ROLEX ....with all differents precious metals ... ) and others replicas/copy/homage ......

David I used to see replica watches as a sort of Robin Hood type gesture deflating the ego's of the super wealthy. I can't fully explain why I changed my mind but I dislike the idea of them now. Homages are in my view at least honest attempts at enjoying the style of the donor piece without pretending to be something they...or you..aren't. There is some quite dishonest behaviour from brands (marketing maybe...if we are kind) that stop me feeling too sorry about intellectual property rights.
Really nice but used to be nicer. They used to have a Cartier Tank Homage with a silver case. They are starting to move upmarket and have...or recently had...an upmarket sub brand called Drefus & Co.
what do you expect for 20 pounds? just the fact tgat you can even wear that as a symbolic to gesture to rokex is worth $20 right there even if the thingbdont keep time! its for show, exactly: its costume jewelry, if you want something functional and looks like a rolex you have to spend 5 x as much
