Kirk, u are sooo helpful. My 2000 K1200 LT just lost the clutch. I did the no no quick take off. Im thinking Im going to give my younger Pastor my boat if he wants to follow your videos and do the job. What occured to me is it would be great if you get a chance to make a series on putting it all back together! Also if he doesnt do it, I wonder if shipping it to you from Oregon would be better than having the bmw shop do it here. I sure trust your quality work and integrity!
Thank you for your kind words! I would be happy to work on your/his LT for you. I service many that both travel and are shipped here from all over the US and Canada! Contact me at kirksmotorrad.com and we can continue the discussion there.
@@renedejong347 No, but it is not hard. I use a long needle nose pliers and reach up underneath to pull the bulb out. The other way is to remove the windshield and cover to access it
I did the ABS delete, and your stainless steel brake lines. I love not having the lights come on intermittently while riding. Does this procedure affect reverse? I haven't tried using reverse since the ABS delete. It felt like the bike used the brakes to hold itself while using reverse. I didn't want to hurt anything trying reverse.
Hello. I want to buy a BMW motorcycle. Can you tell me how the BMW K series engines differ from the BMW R series engines? I would like to apologize right away, I use Google translator.
