Post-Camino Blues in Porto, Portugal 

The Post-Camino blues are REAL. After 35 days of such a simple, peaceful, meaningful way of life, going back to the real world feels sad & scary 🫠 I knew I would need a transition period between leaving Santiago de Compostela and flying back to New York City. So I planned a 5 day trip to Porto, Portugal. Two of my best friends, Chelsea and Danna offered to join me. And in Porto, we spontaneously formed a little Camino crew!
Porto is a great place to visit after your Camino. It's a step into "normal" life, without being totally removed from the Camino, as many pilgrims take the opportunity to enjoy Porto for a few days :) It's SUCH a beautiful city. I'm so grateful I got to experience it with my besties.
