He took the post offices lies at face value instead of starting his own investigation, he should resign.

Yes it was his responsibility, blaming the Post Office when the buck stops with him is appalling.

I also know that across the IT industry which I worked jn, EVERYONE knew that Horizon was a basket case and career poison. Ed Bloody Davey, our local MP, has NEVER EVER responsed to problems our/ supposedly his, local community has raised over the past 15 years.. We raised a serious problem 3 weeks ago and we are still awaiting response.. we even dared 'Sir' to come down to our estate to meet his constiuents.. NADA.. Clearly he lives in his weee 'SIR' world.. There is an ongoing public inquiry into the Post Office Horizon scandal. It should be allowed to complete its work and publish its findings, including criticisms - if any - of Sir Ed Davey or the many others who had Ministerial oversight of the Post Office throughout the period in which sub postmasters were being wrongly prosecuted and convicted on the basis of faulty and now wholly discredited evidence. I find this kind of TV pile on distasteful. It doesn't help the truth emerge. It doesn't help the victims of this scandal. It is just sordid, uninformative, and uninformed lowest common denominator TV 'shock jockery'.
