What do I do when I get my bike after it is Pro-Built? What is left?
With our Pro Build service, You will receive the benefit of having our certified bicycle mechanic fully inspect, assemble and tune your bicycle to insure proper operation. We are an authorized dealer of Kestrel, Diamondback, Gavin and Vilano bikes so use of this service will validate your warranty coverage.
This video is to show our customer what assembly is remaining after they purchase the ProBuild service.

You will need to attach the pedals, saddle, front wheel, front brake and the handlebars. That's it!
Please don't forget, you need to screw the left pedal on counterclockwise as if you're sitting on the bike. The right screws on clockwise as if you're sitting on the bike. Please hand tighten carefully. Once you are sure you did not cross thread the pedals, and after they are attached firmly, you can tighten.
Be careful as this is the only part we do not cover under warranty.
The saddle just slides in and can be adjusted easily. You tighten the seat post clamp as desired.
The handlebar tape is on the handlebars. You have two bolts to attach, and the cables are run.
Please always ride safely and carefully. Please take your bike to a bike mechanic for final sizing and a final safety check. Review the owners manual, and be aware of all safety precautions, and maintain your bike regularly. Please use your helmet and safety gear, be conscious of traffic, and enjoy!

I just bought this bike including tune up etc. Question- The model I bought appears to be the same you are assembling. How do I raise the handlebars?

You may need a new stem. Most of our stems are fixed as adjustable ones can fail. They are easy to reaplace and a local bike shop can help you out with this. In some cases you can flip the stem around to raise the handlebars a bit. Vilano has a video for this if you need it.
