It’s definitely top water time! I was out this past weekend. All the bigs seemed to be focused up on weed beds. Awesome video Jake.

Sounds about right, more oxygen, cooler and they can get out of the direct sun in this low clear water

@@JakeHarshman they commonly jump out of the water and take dragonflies and damselflies out of mid air, so they definitely feed up above the water. Also, I've draped lures over tree limbs (accidentally, of course), and they've come out and hit them. Nice video again.
