Hey, ya'll! Today's video is a 10 MINUTE POST-WORKOUT YOGA STRETCH. It's important to stretch after working out because of lactic acid buildup. Lactic acid is what makes your muscles sore and stretching helps to reduce that. Stretching also keeps your muscles malleable and flexible, which helps to reduce the chances of injury. Overall, stretching can assist you with a quicker recovery and help you to be back to yourself faster. I tried to keep the poses fairly simple, so be sure to modify if you need to. Also, I'm trying new things with my camera and setup so let me know what you think. I'm still learning and getting used to everything so be patient with me. I've been looking for a good ten minute cool down for after my workouts and this is perfect! I love how deep the stretches are and how fully stretched my body felt afterwards. I really enjoyed the cat to table stretch especially. Thanks for sharing!

Really Nico i am so glad that I found your channel this year. Trigger warning "ED": You're content gives me so much and is such a big part in helping me go through my own healing process from anorexia and bulimia. I'm struggling now for over 12 years and visited a inpatient clinic for 3 months where I could stabilize my unhealthy weight and also my relationship with food, eating and handling emotions. And you're videos are such a big part of my own healing. I haven't had access to my own body for years and thanks to the whole yoga philosophy and your content, I manage to treat myself a little better every day, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for that!

Hi Nico, I looked quickly at this video and it looks like a good overall stretch. Would you say it's best suited to any particular kind of workout? I do a lot of jogging and cycling, so my workouts are really bottom-heavy and I tend to get the most soreness in my quads... been looking for post-workout stretches that really go deep into those muscles.
