Do you need to peel potatoes fast? This is our first time using the Potato Peeler Feature on our Breville Sous Chef 16 Peel and Slice. Ann shows the parts and how to assemble the parts for peeling potatoes. Then loads some potatoes in the machine and 20 seconds later they are done. Wow. I am impressed. Kenwood mixers used to have a potato peeling attachment (years ago), but I didn't know of any other company that has them. I have the Breville immersion blender so I would not hesitate to buy the Sous Chef. Thank you for sharing this.

@@cookingandstoring Thank you. I love my Breville immersion blender. I've had others by Bamix, Braun, Cuisinart and KitchenAid. The Breville has lasted the longest. The KitchenAid one broke the blade the second time I used it. I was making an easy smoothie (yogurt, juice, banana) and I heard the blade break. Glad I didn't drink it! Your food processor looks like it will last a lifetime. Have a good day.

I am wanting one of these SOOO bad I hate peeling taters! I love how there are extra blades to be able to dice other stuff I am excited to add this to my kitchen gadgets great video

Hi there, thank you for your unboxing and use review. I'm researching and considering getting this food processor and I'm reading reviews about the bowl cracking with the S-blade. Have you experienced this or any problems with the food processor? Did you get the other dicing kit with the 8mm and 16mm blades? How often do you use your processor? Does anyone in the comments have experience with Breville customer service? Thanks.

Hello, I have had no issues with this food processor. I read those reviews also, but thought maybe it was from misuse. I'm very careful with mine and don't try to do anything that I think might damage it. I used it a lot more in the summer, when we had a garden. I processed lots of veggies for canning, freeze drying and freezing. I probably use it at least weekly now. We did get the dicing kit in addition to the processer. I really enjoyed using it to dice vegetables for soups and salsa. It worked like a charm. The negatives are getting everything cleaned after use and it takes a lot of storage space for everything. I have had no comments about customer service. If you choose this processor, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. I used it today to shred Cheese for sausage balls. It amazes me how fast it shreds! Did the potatoes need to be smaller ones? Or would larger fit?

If you use larger potatoes, you can only do a couple at a time. I was using small to medium size and put in about five . I haven't tried the larger ones yet, so I can't say how well it would work, Thanks for visiting our channel and your question.

Ma’am, the container is clear plastic. We can see that there was at LEAST one potato in there that had half it’s skin still on! I thought you were going to give an honest opinion. 🙁

Sir, your observation is correct. There was a small potato that didn't peel as well as some of the larger ones. With a few more seconds in the processer, it peeled also.
