I just made this, but I didn't have spring onion and sweetcorn, so I used 1 white onion, 1/2 cup of spinach, and 1/4 cup wild rocket, and half a scotch bonnet pepper (no seeds). I also added some Garlic salt and chilli flakes, it tasted soooooo good! Especially with the lemon zest! YUM
Loved your recipe. Went to make it and didn't have tuna but had canned salmon. I added 1 tsp oil per about every 3 oz salmon. Turned out great! I didn't have your chili recipe for dipping, but had sciracha. I added a little mayo to the sciracha - turned out great! That's another thing I like about your recipes: they are adaptable.
Made these tonight. Used onion instead of spring onion because that's what I had on hand. Delicious. The corn really makes these great. I also used tuna in water because that's all I had.
Yum, what I like about your cooking is. Most items I have in the kitchen. No crazy herbs. Love the instructions at the bottom. my grandkids can watch and read while we make them. Eleven grkids and they eat nonstop. A vat of biscuits and gravy or a gallon of milk w a box of cornflakes breakfast. Blessed day to all !
I am glad you feel this way.. indeed, I am trying to bring delicious recipes that can be made with common ingredients, we are talking about home cooking after all :)

Home Cooking Adventure You really deserve more likes and views. I hope that people will discover your recipes because they're pretty awesome. You're my favourite cooking chanel on RU-vid.
was it necessary to make such a stupid comment ?? did anyone forced you to fast ? to be muslim ? this woman is free to fast during one month, does it bother you ????? couldn't you mind your own buisness "everyone is free to do whatever he likes and everyone is free to belive or not in God cause at the end we all going to die..."
Thank you so much for this recipe I tweaked it a little as it was to bland for our pallette so I added a finely chopped green chilli and some lime juice as lemons are not available where I live they were simply gorgeous my family loved it😊
Home Cooking Adventure+ I have just made these and are absolutely delicious, however, they do soak up a lot of oil. I shall try and brush them with oil and bake them instead of frying. Thank you for sharing.
Ur a forienger and we are Indians.. although you are a foreigner and making Indian dishes..makes me feel very happy..My husband loved it a lot.. Don't worry about the negative comments just ignore them and God bless you..
Another gem! I coincidently had left over baked potatoes and tuna, so I decided to try this recipe. What a great idea! That lemon zest gives it such a Spring kick! Thanks for sharing! (I'm trying the Baked Cornflake Crusted Chicken Strips Recipe tonight :) )
Oh boy, these tasted delicious! I made them this afternoon! I have never seen my husband so excited eating fish cakes. Great recipe!! He ate them with sweet chili sauce and I with mayo.
GREAT video. I love the recipe. Can anyone tell me if these patties would freeze well. I'd like to start the 21 Day Fix and these would be a wonderful addition. Thanks!
Hi, I'm from Philippines. I really love everything that is potatoes! Will try yours tonight.. That looks so simple yet yummy! Thank you for your sharing, Home Cooking Adventure! Xx
Great video, so clear and easy to understand! A million times better than all those recipe videos with some guy shouting and promoting himself all the way through. Thanks, trying this tonight so fingers crossed!
I just discovered your channel and have already watched a string of videos in a row. I love the simplicity and ease of your recipes and everything looks scrumptious!! I also adore that utensil you are using to lift the cooked patties out of the pan! Wherever did you find that??
Thank you. I have found another way to serve tuna that is less boring. And it is more tasty. I was hungry and did not want anything I had in the pantry or freezer. I remember watching this video a few days before, so I pulled it up and went to work. I actually didn't have all the ingredients this recipe calls for, but I managed with substitutes, or just left them out, like the corn. Oh, but it was still so good. Going grocery shopping to restock, and will certainly be sure to supply with this recipe's ingredients. Thanks for sharing. Oh, one other thing. It's just me, and this one venture is too much for me to eat. As eggs was one of the missing ingredients, I treated this as a 'salad'. I cooked only what I needed for that day, covered the dish and put it in the fridge. The next day I was good to go again. And I ate it like a salad. Just as delicious.
Thank you for your comment. I'm so happy to hear that you tried the recipe. Good to know that you can keep it in the fridge for the next day. Let me know if you try any other recipe from my channel. ~Cheers ❤️☺️
+Home Cooking Adventure So! I felt like giving an update: I just made these today and they taste super good! Thank you so much for this great and tasty recipe. I love it.
My mother used to make tuna fish patties all the time, mostly for lunch. Slightly different recipe, though. Much simpler. She used cold leftover mashed potatoes from the night before, mixed in drained flaked tuna. formed the patties, dipped them in a beaten egg, coated with with crush saltines and fried them. Skipped the other stuff in this video.
Hi! Nice video... I want to tell you, I am an Indonesian. And in INDONESIA, we call this kind of recipe as PERKEDEL ... and JAVANESE people call it BEGEDEL.... you may try to search the keywords on google. It's interesting to share local food. Love ur video! Two thumbs up!!
Hi great video these look delicious!, I have everything except breadcrumbs, can I make my own breadcrumbs from my bread, does bread need to be dry to get really fine crumbs?
I love the fact that you always answer, I'm a new fan, I'm trying to learn how to cook and definitely I'm gonna try some of your recipes. Regards from México!
Yum 😋 I’ve actually been doing these for years .. a bit of an Aussie staple 👍 Haven’t made them for awhile so will do them very soon ! I like some curry powder in them too 😉 But my advice also is to leave the lemon rind out . Put some worstershire sauce in it if you like and maybe another egg because they fall apart while cooking sometimes
Oh my... I made these tonight (with ingredients in my home already!) and they were.... delicious!! Thank you!!! The lemon zest is the winning element for us. Thank you! Brought some much needed flare to this Tuesday night’s dinner! 😉
hi i am from Egypt and i love so much your recipe they are so easy definitely i will try some of them but need to ask you if there are any thing i can add it as alternative of egg in this recipe because i am allergic to egg and i do not use it so much i always try to do not use as possible as i can any way thank you so much for all wonderful recipe
Hi! I really love this recipe, I made it without the corn though, still amazing! Could you please do more veg dishes that are accompaniments? I always have a hard time thinking of that... much love, your fan in South Africa! ^^
