Hey Rachel, I'm on an "Extreme" budget, but I love croquettes. I've done canned beef, salmon, canned chicken, & now I wana try tuna. Since I can rarely afford eggs, I've found a substitute: 1 egg=1Tbs cornstarch, 2 TBS water. It works perfectly! I add flour Instead of breadcrumbs, but I'm old, old school. They come out so tasty & crusty. Love ur videos!!!
I love tuna patties. I live in Australia and my mum used to make these. We call them tuna rissoles. Maybe that's just my family. I'm going to make these tonight. Just feel like them now after seeing your beautiful yummy looking patties. Like that salad too.
I, too, thank you for your presentations and recipes. I find them not only entertaining, but very useful in choosing items to cook for my family. Many of your tips about cooking echo my mother’s advice and I can think of no greater praise than that. Please keep sending out your wonderful recipes and advice concerning cooking up good meals for families.

My father made something like this when I was a little girl over 60 years ago. My mother and sister where coming home from a doctor appointment. The house smelled so go. I’m going to try this for my family. 💕

Rachel total fail for me ! I followed the recipe to the letter . But they came apart in oil .. had first batch thrown out .. went back adding more breadcrumbs at least another 1/3 cup and it helped to salvage the rest .. the flavor was good but not worth the hassle !this recipe needs way more breadcrumbs to hold !
I would like to make this sometime..looks tasty. I was thinking about adding a tiny bit of lemon, celery seed, garlic to this recipe.. and what about a dipping sauce? What do you suggest. I remember my mother making tuna patties during Fridays of Lent and especially on Good Friday. Growing up Catholic we fasted from meat on Fridays which I still observe. My mother has since passed. Thank you for this recipe brings back memories of my childhood. I will try this recipe. Looks easy and delicious. 👍😊🙏
I wish you had shared the recipe in the semi comments place like everybody else does. So if I want to duplicate your recipe, I would have to watch the video time and time again while taking notes. Personally, I do take those other recipes for granted, but I also appreciate them and have discovered quite a few that I love.

Sorry, but when you have to peel and chop up a gazillion potatoes AND peel and chop up onions, and chop up fresh parsley and roll up a thousand little patty cakes, this is NOT an EASY meal. Good recipe, but not easy. Might as well just throw chicken and baked potatoes in the oven - that's EASY!

I have never made this before and want to try making them, they look delicious! However, I would have liked to know how much Panko breadcrumbs to ue, it was the only thing for which a measurement wasn’t provided.
Nice lady, nice presentation, and by the looks of it, nice food. Just a small point though, North America is the only country in the world still using ounces/pounds pints/quarts etc Perhaps you might show a metric measurement in your videos for the rest of us.
