Don't get me wrong you can get a few things from these sort of shops, some food stuff mostly, but really most of it is absolute tat and awful quality. I understand not everyone can afford to buy stuff that is dearer, but if you buy cheap you buy twice.
I can't stand the owner and area manager. They walk around the cameras like their the top dog, untouchable. But all their jobs are to make sure the shelves are full of cheap condiments. Watching these episodes their customer skills are terrible. The pair of them. Soon as a customer comes in the cameras view they go into a very awkward robot like they have no idea their talking to their customers. Like ffs, they would sack their own staff if they treated customers like that
Dollar tree here in the US. My sister was constantly asking me, "how much are these?", when I would tell her a dollar, she would say, "are you sure?" Lol Also most our stores look like they have been looted or on the verge of closing.
Councils always have been a complete waste of space.... no sympathy for them. "Obstructing the pavement" So are the other 20+ market stall traders but hey they're paying a "fee" for a license to the local council, so I guess as always, "money talks".... dirty little scum council.
most have gone nw but not everything was a pound and pound world was the best now in 2024 the pound shop try find somethign for a pound not any comp realy
