We had tp prep and pour a 32X64 concrete garage floor with radiant heat and a trench drain. We had spray foam applied under the radiant heat. This was a job we started last year and had to fill it in about 6 feet with gravel. We tamped it real good last year but I was glad the customer was willing to let it settle over winter. The concrete was 4000 PSI with fibers and we had wire mesh down and that was just to hold the tubing down where we wanted it.

Phone do you do one hell of a great job you are very meticulous in your detail and you don't see that as often as you should that's the nature of the world !keep up the awesome work! I like how they did the closed-cell spray and then wire and then piping radiant heat!!

I remember years ago I was setting up a basement pour. And we happened to be there putting down wire mesh just when the heat tubing salesman was down there talking to the customer. And he was telling them how strong the tubing was how you could drive a mixer across it and it wouldn't even dent it! The following Monday we showed up to pour and as I went down from the garage into the basement they'd hung a sign up... "DON'T STEP ON THE TUBING!!" Hahaha what the hell happened to driving a mixer across it?? 😂😂

Would you do us a favor and once you are finished with the job and the concrete is hard, can you bring the skreet board or rob back into the work and lay it down in several spots to see if the flow is correct and there are no puddles??? Nice work. Wish you were in Arizona.

A stupid question what is the difference from a 3000 mix to a 4000 is it because of the size rock that use awesome video
@bondobuilt386
@bondobuilt386 Год назад
The 4000 has more Portland cement in it and is stronger.

Please install a p-trap on your trench drains...... when ran to daylight cold air... rodents etc have straight path to inside... Directly at end of trench drain in heated area.....

I would be afraid when your crew dumps their wheelbarrels the steel frame bumpers on your wheel barrels would puncture the radiant tube heating tubes.

Curious about concrete, delivered cost per yard?
@bondobuilt386
@bondobuilt386 5 месяцев назад
Depends on the mix and how far it is from the plant. We are over $200 a yard at this point and like $230 in the colder months.

That first truck needs to go directly to the shop, either the swing chain needs to be tensioned, or it’s worn out and needs replacement, usually along with the gear on the hydraulic motor, that’s dangerous for your guys with all the chutes on, with that much play. If the chain snaps, with a loaded chute, while he’s swinging it, could cost you a couple of guys, I’ve seen it happen.
