rarely used vibe screed just a straight 2x4. job looks good did concrete for 16 years miss it sometimes

so I just poured a court this last week 48x28. I added a slope that ended up being like almost 4 inches. I kinda regret it now seems like it's to much. but other then that we love it.

We poured the concrete 4 inches but the guy didn’t put the control joints would that effect the slab?

Hi Sobia, with proper rebar installed, the performance of the slab should not be affected. The control joints help the concrete to crack where you want it and is more about the look of the pad. Your pad may crack in various areas but should be fine. Cheers!
