I've had to take the hose off on a few job's over the years here in Ireland to get the boom in to place. For job's like that a 24X4 Schwing work grate for inside work and tight places.
Yes, we have a 24M Putzmeister which is also extremely handy. Your Schwing however has the reverse folding tip section, which makes it much more effective for low clearance/indoors work.

I also just cut a piece of plywood stuck in clamp almost any job site u can find plywood
I’ve also seen guys weld a circular plate of steel to a 5” clamps for using as a cap. It works really well.

My thoughts would b to take elbow off between sections 4 and 5...if u still jave reach...then sextion 4 will b pointing uphill back stroke ounce..plan A shouldnt leak? Ur thoughts
Definitely could be some benefits. We did end up using most all of the reach (from what I can recall), so it may bit have been the ideal play here, but definitely a good option to explored when circumstances call for it 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hey Scott how come you could run to 38 putzmeister inside this building but you couldn't do it at the expo for the competition I don't think you tried hard enough
You should get a block off for jobs like that get a clamp and weld a cover over the end to block it off the you just put the clamp on while moving and no concrete falls out but just weld on one side of the clamp so you can close it
I just spray directly up into the barrels as the pump is stroking forward at full volume. Allow it to stroke over 5-6 times. I guessing its about a half a gallon of water which ends up in the S-tube.
