Decided to go back to Market Square and do another POV video since now that there are a lot more people out. It was crazy to see so many people out compared to my last videos. Over all I had a good time making this video.

hey man! I loved this video so much! this is the only video ive seen of someone using the sigma lens specifically for a photoshoot and thats exactly what I would be using it for. However, Im between buying the sigma 18-35 f1.8 or the sony 16-55 f2.8. I loved your photos but I also saw that most of your photos were shot at 2.8. if you happen to have several thousand dollars laying around (lol) , if you could make a video similar to this but with the 16-55 that would be so dope so I could see how they compare image wise

Hey man! thanks for watching! I guess it depends on the camera you use. I'll have to try out the 16-55mm someday. The Sigma 18-35mm has so far been my favorite lens in bag. If you have a crop sensor camera then both of the lenses would be great. If you have a full frame camera then the Sigma 18-35mm would not work to well. Unfortunately the Sigma 18-35mm is mainly for cropped sensor cameras, but i'm sure the 16-55mm would be great on a full frame. The reason why I chose the Sigma is because of how sharp the lens is. I hope this helps. If I had a 16-55mm I could of possibly given you a better answer but this is all I have. lol

Hi really love your photography and camera set up! quick question...sorry newbie to really owning a nice camera, does the Sony a6400 need an adapter for the Sigma 18-35mm? I have seen there some need an adapter? Thank you in advance!

Hi Jessica! Most Sigma lenses would need an adapter (Sigma MC-11) for Sony. Most of Sigmas lenses are mostly made for Canon, Nikon , and other brands. But now Sigma is coming out with new lenses that will fit with the Sony e-mount systems. If you decide to get the Sigma 18-35mm and the Sigma MC-11 adapter I would suggest updating them on your computer before having to use them. It wouldn't hurt if you didn't update but it definitely helps when it comes to focusing subjects in the photos.

I mainly use aperture priority mode for street photography. But I would say between 1.8f - 2.8f and around 100 ISO.

Thanks! It's called Focus Peaking. The majority of Sony cameras have them in the settings.

Sick vid need more like this...picking up a 6400 this Friday. What lenses do you recommend for street? I was pondering picking up the sigma trio(16m,30m,56m all @ 1.4) but a bit pricy if i could get a lense that did what all 3 do would be great

Thanks! Those are great lenses. I would say just find a good wide lens and a zoom lens. I have the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 but I mostly use the Sony 85mm. So I would say look into a more versatile lens the can go from wide to zoom. 👍

hey buddy nice video.. i have a quick question would you recommend a 85mm f1.4 prime lens for the Sony A6400 for daily photoshoots. and how far do you really need to stand to be shooting with this lens with a model. also can it be used for food photography ?

Thanks and it can be great for portrait photography but you will have to stand a little far to shoot. When using the a6400 with a Full Frame Lens you will get a crop factor of 1.53x. Which basically a Full Frame 85mm will be a 130mm on aps-c. For food photography it may not be great idea to use an 85mm. I would recommend looking into a 50mm or 35mm. 50 is really good for portrait and food photography. I plan on getting a 50 in the future but the one I'm looking at will take some time for me to save up. lol But I hope this helps man. 👍

@@JoshGMedia thanks a lot for your suggestion but I am kind of stuck on the look and the compression you get from that 85mm on an aps-c, I already have the 18-50mm f2.8, hence kind of reluctant to go for the 50mm 1.4. it's hard to decide where to invest. lol

All the images you see in the video are edited. I would say the Sigma is perfect for portraits and landscape but the Sony would be mostly for portrait style photos. 👍

Hi mate! Nice work! I also have a6400 and the only lens i have is the sigma 30mm. Do you think it's worth to get the FE 85mm 1.8? My boyfriend has a full frame body tho that I can also use. but i'm a bit skeptical because the 85mm might be too close for apsc? i need your advise haha :)

Thanks! I think the Sony 85mm is a great lens even though your subject will be much closer than what a full frame camera would be. But the images always to turn out great for me especially when it comes to portraits. If you don't want to be as close then I would suggest looking into lenses that are less than 85mm. Maybe try looking into the Sigma 56mm. I've never tried it but it seems to be a popular lens for a lot of other photographers. 👍

Hey bro great videos, quick question, I have an a6400 and already have the Sony 50mm 1.8, would you suggest getting the sigma 56mm? Or the 85mm? I primarily do portraits and was looking to getting a better lens.

Thank you! For portraits I would probably go for the Sigma 56mm. Sigma is just a little sharper than the Sony in my opinion. But the 85mm is great for not just portraits but also for street photography.

For vlogging I would go for the Sony 12-16mm f2.8 and for photography the Sony 18-105mm f4 Gmaster. 👍
