bro saw mario literally come out of the screen, mutate horrifically, KILL A GUY, and STILL had the guts to tweet badly about the movie right in Mario's face. Honestly, this guy has my respect.
Imma be honest, if i saw this film as a kid, i definitely would have entered an obsession with this film that could either last weeks or it could last a year
The actual POV of the movie is Mario is every person who played the games but kinda sucked at it, and probably played alone most of the time, so Luigi just isn’t there. Eventually Mario gits gud and starts playing the co-op titles so Luigi can finally get a turn.
@@DOntTouCHmYPaNDa Already did a Linus ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8GsoZOpw8aE.html - but the format of an LTT video has changed substantially enough with more cast, budget, content, sponsors and locations. A video on LTT chasing tech hype would look a lot different from the MeatCanyon video released waaaay back in 2020.
I don't go to the movies anymore. Not paying to listen to entitled jerk #364 answer his phone while some baby is screaming in pain from having their ears permanently damaged by the sound system.
Talking and loud munching during a movie is the worst. That's probably some people don't go to theaters anymore and just wait 30 to 45 days for it release of streaming. My mom hates going to the theaters.
This loud ass little kid was talking loud ASF behind me, the parents put on fucking RU-vid kids near the end of the movie, I just hate parents who can't control their kids in general ☠️
When I took my daughter to see it, I was surprised at how many grown ass adults were verbally announcing their nostalgia to try and be funny. I'm so glad Meat clearly had the same experience.
@@arthurpietrogarcia1057 I mean, they were though. It was just the tone in which they displayed their nostalgia. A mix of trying to be funny/unique and a know it all. Idk man, I hope they had fun, but you can have fun and not be more obnoxious than the 5-8 year olds in there.
@@GrimmShadow I was not "busy paying attention" I was forced to endure their obnoxious behavior. Which is fine if it's kids doing it, but the 30 year old socially awkward perma reddit pilled guy is not something I wanna be forced to sit through alongside it. Movie was fun though. Had a great time other than that. He had that "mmmm akctuallllyyyy" energy. I feel like this video conveys that pretty well.
@Меаtсаnуоn 🅥 “fr”, the bot says, as it sacrifices its remaining bits of humanity to scam a couple more users into thinking the real MeatCanyon responded… 😔
@@-whyquestion no ones talking about kpop also what if there was a kpop song telling you to kill yourself, would you do it? if it did i think you should
This was by far the most badass protagonist. He got confronted by a movie character coming out of the screen and told him to his face that the movie was mid, watched a person get murdered without batting an eye and then he straight up started tweeting again.
He's not. Mario actually makes good points. The mario games are simple. Therefore the movie should be simple as well. People complaining about the simple story are the same types who hate the complicated story of the 1989 Mario movie
@@8shkayLol, yes. Obviously. I'm having trouble figuring out if you're a troll, or just an edgy teen in the process of figuring out your personal philosophy. But I'll humor ya, please explain to me why you question that statement? What led you to ask that question, what exactly is it, that you're asking?
What I love about MeatCanyon is that the anomalies that happen in this universe just seem to not phase anybody and they just see them as regular people pretty much.

0:55 I just love how the redhead is freaking out about the super mushroom despite it being around an hour in the movie and the mushroom was introduced 29 minutes in the film
One of the scariest things to me in my imagination is a character interacting with someone outside the screen. Not just breaking the fourth wall but doing exactly what Mario did, “ WHAT DID YOU JUST TWEET” made my heart drop. Even MeatCanyon’s less scary stuff is so surreal and frightening.
It's honestly kind of sad reading some of the comments here. It's fine if you like the Mario movie, but I don't think it deserves anywhere near the praise it has been getting from people. It especially gets on my nerves when people praise it and then go on to say that you shouldn't criticize it much because it's for kids.
@@ItchHeSay when it’s being criticized for something that is prevalent in all child focused media, like pacing cough cough, then yes I don’t think a 30 year old who uses Facebook as often as the kid who uses tik tok should be worried about a fast pace film. When it’s being praised for character design/animation style and etc it’s also reasonable.
Puss in Boots The Last Wish is simply the best animated movie of 2022 and became one of my favourite animation movies for sure and I'm sure I'm not the only one too
0:59 "I haven't been happy since I was 7 years old". The definition of a kidult. Always chasing happiness through nostalgia-fueled media. It's never enough.
This was hilarious. I like how no one is freaking out despite Mario breaking the fourth wall & transforming into an Eldritch horror.😂 Funnily enough I imagined stuff like this happening with other characters in my video games as a kid.
His criticism of the movie is actually true. Like the characters had chemistry which i was surprised with and they just... didnt do anything with it. It felt like it would've been a better game than a movie.
And it’s meant to be a tribute to the legacy of the games more than anything else. And I’m glad that it did just that: It shows the appropriate amount of respect to the franchise on which it is based. It will be a complete disaster if a Mario film pretends to be deep and even attempts to give you some sort of a lecture on life.
It's just a superficial kid's movie. Adults shouldn't even be giving their opinion on it. But frankly if you allow your child to become obsessed with these "iconic" characters and brands purely intended to make money, you aren't a good parent. Get them to read a book for god's sake.
It was a mediocre film, and should never be above criticism. Even for a kids movie. Puss in Boots TLW blew it completely out of the water. There's no excuse for how mediocre the film was, especially not 'its for kids.' But people jizzed themselves over it because memberberries. Brand recognition is not a substitute for decent writing, acting, etc.
Dang this hit straight home, I watched, really liked it, yet understood that it had its flaws. And when I saw that the critics weren't to happy, I saw that fitting, even for a good movie, yet many people were going crazy over it.
Honestly I can find Mario extremely relatable here. Seeing how annoyed he is that the guy was talking about the problems in the movie making him irritated and the crowd continuing to make references doesn’t help anything either.
This captures the fan base so perfectly. The fans pointing out what they recognize, having a good time, and the creepy yet cool animation of Mario getting uglier as he threatens the one critic.
I fucking love Mario, but I swear Mario fans are the most weirdly complacent fanbases out there, it's like the opposite of the Sonic fanbase. The last time people got genuinely angry at Nintendo for something that was explicitly Mario related was over 10 years ago when NSMB2 and NSMBU came out, and those aren't even considered bad games anymore.
@@theraymunator I been a fan since 1989, and went into this film with low expectations. Objectively I thought it was a decent film. The mix of the US Brooklyn Mario with Nintendo’s world was done well, the visual style, how Bowser was straight out of the manga was nicely done. Peach was out of character for me when it comes to her voice, and some of her mannerism, like a 90s US cartoon girl power personality, but from a marketing view I see why they did it to appeal to the Western audiences. Over all from a critical view, not counting references to games the film made, it was good. Thing is not one thing is made for everyone.
I actually enjoyed this movie. The theater I went to must have been partially booked by a children's party because there was dozens of kids that all knew each other somehow.
_"Mario movie certainly is no puss in boots... that's for sure."_ After many of us saw _Puss in Boots: The Last Wish,_ I think a lot of us had unreasonably high expectations. _The Super Mario Bros. Movie_ was serviceable. It didn't add any head-turning, universe-blown ideas where you start sobbing after leaving the theater, but it was still fun to watch.
It was fine, serviceable is a good word for it. I enjoyed the nostalgia factor well enough but my kids had a great time and that's what really made it fun for me.

@@xxthecoolkittyxx8995 I am neither pissed nor offended. The movie was just meh at best, and could have easily been written differently to allow Luigi something to do.
