Well, the point is he can't exactly turn around and make a proper approach, seeing as he flew diagonally over the airstrip, without aligning with any of the runways. Also, even if he wanted to, their hydraulic systems (which control the control surfaces e.g. the Ailerons that aren't completely dead, which means the plane can roll around a bit but can't turn, the completely dead elevators which mean it can't pitch up, or down, or tilt-turn (not official pilot vocab here, I'm trying my best!) like any standard fixed-wing aircraft, and the rudder which can sort of help turn which is probably how it's turning a bit here and there) are almost completely gone. So yeah, only option is to ditch it.
@@Lukas-iq3jp Look, man, I don't think funny game logic works like that. Over here, they're mentioning the hydraulics, but in game, I don't think you can damage those. Too many hits and the engines start smoking before it explodes.
@@normanbeige6402 the pilot lost hydraulics, elevator control and almost all of the aileron control which makes sense on how the plane could still turn left and right
Would've had to dive in there and since he had very little aileron control and no hydraulics at all he basically couldn't slow the plane down and him going straight down to sandy shores would've just been suicide
Hey, whatever, is it possible for you show Solomun's POV in the Nightclub resident DJ recruitment mission where he's in the plane and trying to pilot it?
2: Tower: "Pull your flaps!" Pilot: "I don't need them..this is GTA V & super max lift & below min. airspeed are a permanent flight condition." Tower: "Roger that!"
