Actually if you paid attention; the securitrons had a dormant self repair program that also needed the platinum chip for the update So the army would be virtually unkillable; as they will eventually repair themselves with nanomachines or whatever Mr House said it was And the Platinum Chip was also the key to thousands of Securitrons stored under the Fort So really, their best hope forward were thousands of state of the art AI robots with the strongest firepower, durability, and being virtually unkillable/self maintained. The robots were so sophisticated that the think tank couldn’t reverse engineer them in old world blues
