I went to a court house wedding for the first time about a year ago. I've been to lots of weddings, some that cost 10's of thousands of dollars. But I never felt what I did at the courthouse. The love energy was so powerful it was a spiritual experience. Now ain't nothing better to me than a courthouse wedding. Congrats! May you have an abundance of joy and an abundance of time

While I absolutely loved my new rock, I wanted MY ring back!! Luckily stores policy is to keep the ring you traded in for (I think it was 60days) because I would have been broken hearted 😢. I've been in lavish homes whose owners have the $$ to do whatever their minds can imagine, but its EMPTY of love. They can keep that!!

A courthouse. A beach a church or in.a state park (like my husband.and I did 36 years)what's important for you is the celebration of your love. Absolutely nothing wrong with a courthouse wedding. Long happy marriage you two.
We did the same, my husband was on the phone with work right after saying yes. I didn’t get flowers, we had one witness, went for smoothie after, took few pictures, took short white dress and white flower pins. It was wholesome and then corona hit, and we still had our stone rings for $5 and never bothered with diamonds. Just pure joy and we could take off after chilling for months with corona bs on the beach, the best choice ever.

I had a backyard wedding while my husband was home from boot camp ( 10 days )... I had a short ballerina dress handmade and 10 years later still love my dress and "ceremony" to this day!
Same! My aunt and uncles wooded backyard, some fake flowers, and a $100 macys dress while he was home for two weeks enroute to his first duty station overseas:) eight years and two kids later still going strong:)

Omg I LOVE this!!! You guys made it yours ! That's what I love about weddings we can do whatever we want. I've seen people elope on the side of a mountain w. Just the officiant, my husband and I went to work and got married in my sister in laws backyard and saved money bought a house and he adopted my child from a previous marriage. I've also seen people spend 300,000 have 18 people on their wedding and have 3 videographers. Do whatever Makes it for you. Word of advice...to anyone planning spend more time focusing on your future marriage than planning a wedding
