Thank you a lot! I almost did it alone, but stuck with a URI blob generated by Attachment Control. It was funny to know that I had to convert it to an image first, and ONLY then upload it to a flow. And inside the flow convert it as uriToBinary. Thanks to Microsoft making my life more difficult. And thank YOU again for the ideal explanation! Good work!
I followed along an built it. Works great. I have a need sometimes to keep people away from the SharePoint lists or libraries. This will be good for that!
Excellent video thanks for sharing! I would like to suggest some features that can be added to this app: 1. Before allowing them to upload files we should enforce them to set metadata to the file. 2. Restrict upload on library level and grant permission using Power Automate to create the file. (This point will avoid users uploading files in SharePoint without metadata so we can force them to use Power Apps). 3. The current signed-in user can have access only to the library he belongs to. (example: Accounting, Finance, HR..).
Iwas able to replicate the document library. Excellent work explaining and demonstrating. You did not add a delete button. How would you be able to delete a file and not a folder.
Thanks for watching. To delete a file -one option is to send details back to power automate and use delete action. you can check folder by "isFolder" property.

I'm launching my PowerApp from Excel and passing the filename (including the path) into PowerApps; I'm trying to figure out how to use the Attachment Control to display the file so that I can extract the binary content, pass to Flow and save to SharePoint. If that's not possible, is there a was to have the Attachment Control open to a specific folderpath (which is being passed as a paramenter from Excel)?

I am trying to implement this solution through Microsoft Teams (a work requirement), and when I get to the step where the flow must be created, I invoke the Add Flow step in Teams, but when I get to the Initialize Variable step I do not get a prompt for "Ask in Powerapps". I'm not sure where to go without that. Any guidance?
Hi I am stuck the attachment stage. On the addfile properties when I add the code used "ClearCollect(colDocs,UploadDocs.Attachment) powerapps is not recognising the uploaddocs function. What am I missing?

Hi Deepak, Great work on delegation, can you please help me with adding of path column as in the video I did not get that how did you move from create column window to edit column list.
You need to add a test column to the library. if you have an existing library, you need to create a manual trigger flow and add action to update the "path" column and run this flow on all items in the library. This will be a one-time activity.
Counting number of files under each folder still not delegable, I need to checkout if i can find a trick for it 😀 . I will add it to my future Tips and Tricks video.

After creating the folder for the project, I would like to copy in a template folder with numerous template subfolder and files. Do you have any good ideas of how to do this?

Hi Akash, you can use the collection to consolidate data from multiple DL (more complex than it sounds), but I would not recommend it because it will degrade the app performance.
I have created the document library but when I try to add it to sharepoint it is not displaying the home page as created. It is displaying a screen with the icons not folders and nothing is clickable. What am I missing.

I could see the data patching to SP list . But I wasn't able to see any attachments. I was able to locate the attachments in document library but not in list. Also, this happens when uploaded in mobile. Desktop it works fine. Any thoughts on this ?

Hi Sininv, the Flow that I show to update the path on item create. If you are building app on existing document library you just need to run that flow on all items in your document library only once to update the path text column for existing documents and folders.

You should refresh the data source only so you are doing it correctly. I hope the name of your SharePoint library is 'Documents.' If your document library name is something else, make sure you use the correct name; else, you get an error.
is it possible that the flow now it doesnt work?... i tried and nothing... i created de text column, then a created the flow exactly like you but the flow show an error... nothing bad from mi side... any idea??
As we noticed you have created the PATH flow, triggers only for newly created folders/files, all of suddenly how its ran and updated the Path field for all existing items in side the document library ⁉ This is the missed gap which most of the followers facing‼ please clarify

This is not working for me: If(DocUpload.Run(JSON(coluploaddocuments,JSONFormat.IncludeBinaryData)),Clear(colDocs);Reset(AttachmentControl);Refresh(Test)) the first Part throws me an error msg: Invalid numbers of arguments recieved 1 expected 2. Can someone help`?
