It’s clear that 50 had him around him so he could pick up the mannerisms and catch the vibe from the time the show is set in, I don’t think he comes from a street background so it’s good acting on him and patina’s part, from what I’ve seen of her she has a background tied to broadway, I respect the artistry and creativity to actually have the actors do their homework on the characters they are playing, point blank, his mimicking 50 should tell you a lot about how they all collectively put themselves into the show and why we should appreciate it, could have been one of them shows where you don’t believe none of the characters or some shit someone just put together to make money off, not preaching just wanted to point out a different view on it.
@nakimsteely2038 It's amazing to me how Patina changes into Raq and she's so different being on Broadway and a singer. And Kanan does a good job portraying fifty cents and sounding like him. They both do a good job.
