I'm sorry, but I stopped this video 38 seconds in... TOTALLY WRONG. Power is filthy. And every appliance in your home helps to CAUSE IT! I live in a very new home, but it doesn't stop the lights for ever so slightly flickering when there is a draw/fluctuation in power. Any electrical engineer will tell you as much. Put an oscilloscope up to your outlet, and you can see the garbage in the grid. Its terrible. Now can most modern day electronics handle it? Probably. But why take the risk if you are serious about some of your tech. I, for one, won't plug my nearly $5,000 desktop computer, into a cheap surge protector with no UPS backup battery plugged in on top of that. Would you? (I used to live in an old home, with absolute garbage power, and until I bought a power conditioner, I blew 3 motherboards in my main desktop PC. Thankfully, I had a warranty on each one. I'm glad someone referred a Monster Power surge protector with Stage 2 filtering, as it totally stopped the issue from continuing.) Sorry, I'm not trying to be rude. And I usually don't cut review videos short. But I could only listen to so much in the first 30 seconds. (And by the way... there is VERY LITTLE IF ANY protection built into your other household items, just FYI. They are just more resilient.)
Yeah I hear there is no difference in quality whether you pay one dollar or twenty dollars. ?.. it's almost the same as the scart leads for our vhs and dvd players.. trying yo make out that the gold plated ones outputed a better picture?.. or am I totally wrong lol :)
