Really Interesting to see the perfomance figures and curves. Yall are always kicking it up a notch! The premiere was certainly a fun way to see the video too
Thank God you showed up, Entire list of mods is completed for my 1.0 tsi only the tune is pending and I was getting it done by superchips this weekend, but now I'm going to hold till you come up with something.
Hi folks , I guess the stage 1 tune is not designed to utilise the free flow setup which u have got , try stage 2 from superchips which is designed for free flow , this might give out some good increase in torque and power , I run a stage 1 from superchips with stock exhaust , the website says it’s designed to run with stock car , so ideally the superchips people would have limited the turbo pressure according to the stock exhaust , Just my thoughts , maybe I’m wrong
Thank you for your comment! Agree with what you're saying and we are definitely planning to do a stage 2 soon. But here the good news is, tuning is done as per the car, so they were told that Exhaust has been installed which helps as the O2 sensor is also not giving errors which it usually does.
I have a theory, from my experience. I had a Polo 1.5 TDi did a CR140 turbo swap (2012 Jetta turbo) and remap ( Venom Performance) I was easily making 380-400 nm of torque with the 1.5 TDI stock catalytic Converter on it and the experience was powerful like car was just too peppy to jump around, But it was bad for the turbo. Then I removed the Catalytic Converter and there was a bit of power fall, note that i only removed the cat, I didn't do a straight pipe. So from my understanding, we need a back pressure for the turbo to have the power to be pushed, and as the Catalytic Converter is literally next to the turbo exhaust mouth it is actually providing that pressure, so once we remove it the pressure falls and loosens up, so the power drops. If you go for a performance Catalytic Converter, I assume that we can still get a bit more power from the car. As you mentioned in the video you find the car has smoothen up in the acceleration, that is because the catalytic Converter is removed, add a performance Catalytic Converter and the power would grow back.
Hello Christy , thank you for sharing these are actually some really interesting points you've put ahead, the thought that you are sharing does make sense and we are trying that out ourselves too coincidentally and doing a little more experimentation on the same also added an intake , video will be out soon we shall keep trying to get the sweetspot
@@AutoFly Hi team, below is a youtube video of one of my friends car 1.8 TSI Octavia, you might know them (VAGMaster, Owner Name is Sharan) he has the current All wheel drive 1.8 TSI from Chennai. If you check in the video they have sourced a Milltek downpipe. I Hope this might help. Mostly you guys might have checked it out still sharing it from my end, as from a car guy to another. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tbSZKShi7QM.html Awaiting for your future builds update.
Hello , may we ask what are the factors you are considering to compare like why would you think between them, car cost , engine cost, reliability , performance ?
@@AutoFly in this case you might have limited options, with this new exaust opt for cool air intake, Etuners stage 2 with fuel remap. The full exhaust system is gold here, but it's too much for stock or stage 1 vehicles. That is the reason I suggested this. Hey but appreciate your project getting a right consultant from Shaw or other tuners before you change. 👍❤️
Hey Manoj, Thank you so much for the insight will surely keep that in mind , already planning some interesting things for stage 2 , video coming up soon :D
