While looking around for modifications I could do for my ever reliable 2007 650 Kawasaki Versys, I stumbled across the Procom Power Jet Fuel Controller. With claims that it increases acceleration and was easy to install I stretched the wallet to £92 and tried it out.
It's bike specific so be sure you get the correct model no.
Throughout this video I price the Powerjet at £97 (it was actually £92) but if you shop around you can get one cheaper.

Good to see there is a review on the fitting of/difference this product makes. Bit surprised that you were taken aback by the drop in fuel mileage, after all that is exactly the effect the product is intended to make. It is also proof that it does in fact do something and isn't just a snake oil box that lives off the placebo effect. Again, thanks for the review! Will be buying one based on it.

Exacly I will gladly sacrifice paying a bit more for my fuel use for 10% power gain... to my vzr 1800 that is already a beautiful black beast of a bike 115lbs toque as standard

Ive had one on my 99 750 SRAD, Also with a Healtech FI module & ATRE, & Leo pipe, n Hiflow airfilter Mounted on the steering head/ dash Easy to Dial in on the go.. Made a world of tunabilty,, +++ @ hi speed runs 9k rpms to 12.5 rpms Been 5 yrs Next i need to change the CR battery.... Bcoz it wont light up .... ( instructions are on the back ) CR1220 i believe >>>> Out!

ive had one on my 2004 zx6r for the past 4 years, its still going strong, only a couple of issues ive found is that at times the dial moves itself due to the vibrations and such, also the rubber wiring around the connections has corroded and broken due to weathering

Excellent review, thank you. I'm going to fit one onto my 2000 ST2 Ducati to see if it smoothes out the lumpiness at low speeds around town....this has helped greatly

Thank you for the very detailed video, was gifted one of these from a friend and I’m about to install it. Fuel consumption aside, did you notice any long term negative effects? An increase in fuel consumption is definitely expected, no way around that. I’m wondering if it wasn’t so dramatic over time. I’m sure with the new toy you were a little heavier on the throttle than usual for the first few days 😂

To be honest this is something I use rarely use nowadays and when I do I whack it up to level 5 just for fun. You may have read into my voice over that the difference is small, not that it was all in my mind but still small. There's been no negative effects other than fuel but as I said, I rarely use it these day (its still connected). As it was gifted to you, put it on and have a go but if you were looking at buying one now I'd reserve my advice to only if you can really afford it. Thanks for watching though and Ride Safe

Just ordered one for my fjr 1300 it was literally one of the few i could find that is compatible with the first gen i was honestly so sketchy about buying this but after your video i feel a lot better about my decision especially now since i have free flowing exhaust it has a major lag at 3500 rpm and throttle response is a bit funny but i hope this will clear it up

I came to a similar conclusion. Noticeable difference. The big question though is does the mod increase your insurance premium as they ask any mods to your bike. If you were to be involved in a accident you just might not be insured if they don't know!

Very good point and my thoughts are that you do need to notify them. Insurers will find any reason not to pay out and this is a declarable mod. What if its not switched on?

Well they do say stock settings are as original bike set up. I bought mine not for the performance boost but I really wanted to see if it improved throttle and smoothness on my v4 bike and I feel it did on the first 2 settings. Good review on s product that is not well documented.

Yes Wayne, can't say I've had much use recently because I've mainly used the bike to commute and have it switched off for that. So only been for a couple of short rides this year due to lockdown but when its on you notice.
