At the end it seemed like Gary forgot he was the one with the remote 😂 happens to me a lot as well. Explaining something to a customer and expecting them to hit the button that I am in front of. Great video! A lot of useful tips.

Perfect timing. My Utah motor is slowing down. Time to take it apart and service the system. Worse case I can change the whole assembly. This video made it look really simple. Thanks

Gary needs a multimeter; it'd make his life easier. Also, dielectric grease does not help with continuity, cleaning the connection does. It does help keep the connection free of moisture and debris, so once you've established a good connection - it'll help keep it that way. Just wanted to clarify that. Otherwise, awesome video! I'm sure it's going to save a ton of people from having to use the hand crank.

I was wondering if you could put out a video of what types of fasteners and how to attach shelves and other things to the inside of a popup ceiling. Can`t find any information on this anywhere. Thanks for the videos.

Sure! I will put it on the list.

Love all these helpful videos. Our motor is dying. Have you ever replaced a motor assembly with a hand/manual crank?
@popupcamperpro
@popupcamperpro 8 месяцев назад
I have not, since you can manually crank a motor. It’s easier to leave it on as is and simply hand crank it from the override adapter in my opinion.

Hello! Really helpful video. Quick question, can you change the motor with the top being down so you don't have to support it with the 2x4s? Thanks!

Can a pop up with a motor be converted back to a manual crank system?

Thank you this video was super helpful. One question.. is that common to have that much dirt and debris in that motor cuff?
@popupcamperpro
@popupcamperpro Год назад
What are you referring to as a cuff please? Sorry I am not familiar with that term.

@@popupcamperpro the housing the motor goes in. When the tech removed the motor, a ton of debris came out. I only ask because my 2017 Somerset Evolution e3 has same motor pulley system and have never been maintenances or removed. I do remove and replace grease on the worm drive/wiffel tree yearly.

@@scarson216 got it. That was ontop of the motor. Looked like a bird had began to build a nest on it.

Random question, have you seen or heard of using white bed liner to repair broken abs cover on roof? Or know a better way to fix? Mine is cracked from end to end with multiple other “repairs”
@popupcamperpro
@popupcamperpro Год назад
It's fixable, and bedliner is a very popular option.
