Super quiet, super strong, super compact, lightweight, and the fact that the controller can control my power poles. I'm sold just have to save up $5k and I'm all in!
At 5k it's obviously only for professional tournament fishermen who are heavily sponsored. That's just not a realistic price I don't care how good or quiet it is. Plus I hate to say it but that titanium shaft WILL bend if hit hard enough, and it does happen. There's always something hidden below the surface somewhere. At least MG and MK shafts are composite and will flex enough to absorb a hit. I've done it several times with both brands.
Ghost is less messy from a cable/visual standpoint, extremely quiet underwater, Bluetooth ability where the sky is the limit on future upgrades as far as remote on your phone, programmable buttons on pedal (this one may have programmable buttons too but have yet to see the petal) imo the Ghost is superior
Looks like a kitchen mixer from the 1950s . I just don't see how this product impacts the trolling motor market at all. Beyond using needlessly expensive components, there is not a functional advantage. I have been running trolling motors for a long time and "reliability" has not been an issue.
They say they built it to outlast your boat but they didn’t mention a warranty on anything other than the shaft. Mini Kota has had a lifetime warranty on their composite shafts for a long time. Other than the quietness I not anything to justify the high price tag. If it’s supposed to outlast your boat then they should have a warranty to match. If not, it’s jut an overpriced tolling motor.
@@alexkrenn2358 I saw that but that’s not any better than the competition. It seems that if they’re gonna tout longevity they should stand behind the product that way.
