The deciding factor for me was the whole setup to the execution. The energy in the call, the background music, and Nikolaeff's badass turn and look towards the camera before the morph.

During the Kalish era, they were unnecessarily necessary.

+dreteddybearcolbert I won't say much about the two companies but, so you like the Micheal Bay background explosions, the slow motion wirework, and the Rangers act like Storm Troopers who can't seem to shoot but are saved by a Micheal Bay background explosion to act like the enemy was hit.

But, I will say that unlike the Neo-Saban era from 2011-2014, the Disney-era did have a much better angle at being as original and as creative as the classic Saban-era did, whether it's good or bad. *sigh!* If only Haim Saban and Jonathan Tzachor had acknowledged that back in 2014 when they did Super Megaforce. But, I guess not.

+rangersentaiguy2 Well, I wouldn't say that about most of the Disney-era seasons. It's just that they sort of have a different charm of bringing in more originality and some creative potential of establishing it's own universe while trying to carry some tropes of the classic Saban-era, but not too much. Besides, it's better than the first two installments of the Neo Saban-era, where the characters all act too one-dimensional and less originality and less-creativeness. Almost like something that was directed by M. Night Shyamalan. *that prick!!!* But, I digress. it is what it is. I just wish that Haim Saban had acknowledged that back when was working with Tzachor on Super Megaforce.
