A presentation by SNRE PhD candidate Tyler Carney: Both managed and wild pollinator species are experiencing well-documented declines. These declines are driven by loss of forage and habitat, climate change, pests and pathogens, and over exposure to pesticides. Pollinators are integral to approximately one third of food crops and critical for maintaining ecosystem health and function. To help in benefit-cost analyses and land use decisions, it is imperative to understand public preferences and the nonmarket values associated with these species.
