Power Wheels Traction Bands 

I just did that with a peg perego john deere gator. You need 12.5" for the front wheels and 14" for the back wheels. Works great! Thanks!

I did something similar to my daughters power wheels jeep. I used a wide rubber drive belt that is used on a piece of oilfield equipment. I cut it to length and then used screwed it on. It has been on there for over a year and has works great. She can actually go off road with it and climb small hills and stuff. I don't know why the company doesn't do something like this anyway. They are practically useless with the factory tires. When in high gear it actually pulls a wheelie too.

if you listen he mentions putting screws into the spaces between the treds on the tire to anchor it to the wheel (just after fighting it into place)

Tried this today on a Ford Raptor. The back ones seems to be doing okay but the front ones won’t stay. Not sure if it’s bc the actual wheels are damaged or if it’s bc those are the ones that turn with the steering wheel.

you can use a water based lubricant to get the bmx tire to slide over the power wheel tire (be aware that if you get it on your hands you will wind up not being able to get a good grip in the bmx tire) also if you do use screws to hold it in place you might want to use either a large headed screw or a washer and some RTV (to prevent pull through, cracking, and water into the inside of the tire)

What size wheels are on that power wheels for the 12.5" tire to fit? I have an escalade for my daughter and want to do the same. The escalade wheels are 14" from the the ground to the top of the tire. Will the 12.5" tire stretch over that?

Do I need to put the tread on both the front and the back tires? It seems that the back wheels always spin out on my son's jeep.

What kind and size of screws did you use? Or does that not matter?

i was also a bike mechanic lol so i was replacing tires left right and center and they are pretty clean , its just convusing and stuff cuz if u be clean and all safe , how is ur body gonna get ammuned to any harmfull things ur gonna come into contact with . i would think it would be less 'clean' to walk down a city street than to do that

Why dint u stretch the tire some before installing. It. Makes it easier and maybe adding water and soap or some lube 😂😂. While u slide it on

This is NOT a good idea! Please realize that the gears on the drive wheels are plastic and the motor is an little electric motor that is either full on or off. Something has to slip somewhere or your going to tear the little plastic transmission gears out. This is the reason for the hard tires. They need to slip or your going to prematurely tear up the gears!!!!!!!
