Rob Zombie is like that goth older brother who's into horror and starts a band based around it, while Spider One is like that nerdy younger brother who's really into sci-fi, and starts a band based around it.
I was the choreographer for P-Man 5K in this video. Spider One chose to improvise like 80% of this. Craft services was mostly beef jerky. Had a good time.
I just saw them play last night and I was blown away by how much they still acted like and sounded like when they started. Not a lot of bands cn do that!
Despite it’s effectively the same but how bad is it these singers act better jumping around in front of a green screen and have more emotional range than most of the MCU😂
It's been too long since I've heard this song. Once the first few notes started playing, though... it all came back. That's a hell of a nostalgia trip.
I started listening to PM5K like 4 years ago... It all started with this song... 'Bombshell' is one of my favorites on the 'Anyone For Doomsday' album. And I must say I can't stop listen to it since then, the sound and riffs just goes on. Happy to be a listener of this band and always a big fan!!!!🎭
I am constantly dropping one of my "greatest' bombs to this one! All applause to Powerman 5000 , they created the best digital medication to constipation ever humanity ever seen/
@@grommukraini7047 Hahah yeah I'll never say it better bro. It's such a great song. Still listen to this day and for me the top 1 song and this album gets better!!! Both of them 'Tonight the Stars Revolt' and 'Anyone for Doomsday?'.Really enjoyable albums.
Underated JC Spyder actually did an interview about that. According to him it was rather dull. They grew up in an uneventful area and didn't really have much going on until they both found their ways in music.
The Zombie family knows how to take a theme and run with it and make it super fun to boot. I mean, this music isn't super complex but it's still entertaining and like I said before, *fun*.
@Talyn has time, this is such a fair and accurate critique. This stuff was my late middle school, early high school time. I like going back and listening to bands I was into then and moved past over the years to see if it holds up. Powerman 5000 is just as fun as I remember.
Kind of wish some new fangled tag team in AEW or WWE would use this. Especially since the Dudley Boyz are mostly retired. Badass song, video and entrance theme.
Wrestlers are byproduct of their era. If an upcoming wrestler used this type of music, he'd be out of place. Notice the patterns of entrances by era Golden Era = Cartoonish New Generation = Character-based Attitude = Heavy Metal Ruthless Aggression = Nu Metal PG = Pop Rock 2014 - Present = Rap
it literally is my favourite thing ever and i hate that life isn't like this now. whatever is happening now, honestly can just go and fuck itself because it isn't THIS. lol
@@glass7923 You don’t need them for it to be Cyberpunk lol. I don’t remember seeing Rick Decker in Bladerunner have any, and that’s up there in terms of Cyberpunk. lol You see a few Cyberpunk 2077 trailers and all of sudden someone’s an expert.
My 7th grade teacher told us to find a song with meaningful lyrics to present to the class. I was enamoured with this song at the time because it sounded so badass so I made up a bunch of shit as to what the lyrics could mean. I made it sound deep and insightful when, now as an adult, I realize my teacher was taking the piss out of me by saying "wow, the lyrics are really beautiful!" 😂
There are many badass PM5k songs but this is THE one. Crank it up & hit repeat. Can't believe I been jamming out to these guys since 1999. Tonight The Stars Revolt sounded insane. Almost the exact same time I heard Static-X for the first time from Wisconsin Death Trip. Both albums blew my fuckin teenage mind. Been following both ever since & became 2 of my favorite bands.
Watched that movie "evolution" saw the scene with this song in it- Been searching for it ever since. My search has ended after 2 years and I've never been happier to add a song to my playlists.
I saw Powerman 5000 tour for Tonight. The Stars Revolt on the second stage at X-Fest 2000 at the former Deer Creek Music Center (now Ruoff Music Center) in Noblesville, IN.
Went to see them in West Haven Connecticut back in the 90's. We went down, broke into pool, ( about 2am so already closed,). About 20 minutes later we hear a roaring crew coming down the hall and figured we were get kicked out when Mickael Cummings and the band as it was at the time came rolling in so we hung and raised hell. Really good people and a freaking great freaking night !!
I always thought it would’ve been so sick to see PM5K and Rob Zombie tour together. That would be the real Family Values 2021 tour! Korn DEFTONES Rob Zombie Pm5K Limp Bizkit Nonpoint Old Staind Taproot if they were still together And the list goes on and on and on

Long Time RAIDER fan. Since 1968 play this during Pussy Chatgers game. I'm from San Diego where they talk about the talk and Run Runaway from the walk.
despite being born 06 I grew up on this shit, my first ever song was bombshell and I would sing it in the bath as an 8 year old and every now and then I still do it as an almost adult
I forgot how fkng AWESOME these guys are. Holy Shit I’m blown away like I just discovered a new band or something except ive Listened to these guys since like 2001or so
I still remember when "When worlds collide" released and was aired on Much Music. Fuckin blew me away! And ppl today actually believe they faded away or had a smaller fanbase than White Zombie.... It was the the exact same fanbase! Theyre touring right now.
I will forever remember that the album was slated for release on Tuesday, September 11th, 2001. Not released for obvious reasons, then only available online.
Met the group in traverse city because I lived across the street from the venue! I love them I first heard of them live ozzfest in Detroit 97 getting organized 🎉❤
God damn it no comments in years. Well might as well, I’ve been listening to Powerman 5000 since my teen years in the 90’s and still the shit. So glad to know new music is out and still to come to a new generation. I just hope these Post-Millennials can appreciate some good old school metal bands.
