This is a fully animated opening sequence for Bleedman's PPGD.
After a year or so of balancing work and doing this project, I present to you Bleedman's Powerpuff Girls D Opening Animation!
Credits:
The original creator of Powerpuff Girls is Craig McCracken.
Bleedman is a comic artist who created a Manga version of the Powerpuff Girls living in a world where various cartoon characters live together in a city called Megaville. His webcomic: ppg.snafu-comic... His deviant account: bleedman.devian...
Guest Apperance: Red by Endling. His deviant account: endling.deviant...
Character animation is done by me. My Deviant account: fantasyblade.de...
Some of the backgrounds are taken from various different anime, +1 cookie if you can name them. xD
The song is called Desire by Do As Infinity.

I've never read this "Powerpuff Girls D" comic, but from what I gather from this animation, I kind of wish the Powerpuff Girls Z anime was like this, that they would be sort of magical girls but still have the powers the original characters had; it would've been like Dragon Ball Z fused with a magical girl anime(LOL, get it? Because there's fusion in Dragon Ball Z? Uh...help me out here.)

Dragon Ball Z fused with Magical Girl, you say? ^_^ Well, Pretty Cure franchise is basically this. Girls transform like in any magical girl and have magical finisher attacks... but majority of fight features them using strong fist and kick attacks. They can even grab giant construction metal thing and throw it at enemy. Either way... i'm still happy with what we got with PPGZ. As in, PPGZ was a parody to magical girl and other japanese superhero shows, the same as original PPG was a parody to american ones.

What PPGZ should have been to begin with. It wasn't a bad show, but that disappointment of it being a magical girl anime over a Shonen (Shojo?) style show still bugs me to this day.

Unfortunately, that's not very likely. So many characters from several different networks appeared in PPG-D that the royalties would be through the roof.

The PPGD comic has characters from all the major series of the time - Samurai Jack, Dexter's Lab, Invader Zim, Fosters Home for Monsters and yes Dora. Plus a few more.

This is so great! If PowerPuff Girls D was an actual anime, I think this is worthy enough to be the opening theme sequence. Oh, and I've come up with English lyrics for this! Bryce Petersen Powerpuff girls Z is like, WAY different than this. This is powerpuff girls doujinshi (think I spelled that right) and is just a comic by bleedman on snafu. Ppgz is a real anime that replaced ppg in a lot of countries. Read ppgd and watch ppgz and you will see the difference.
