I nearly bought a 1975 Consult GT 3.0 manual in red in the 80’s, it had around 13000 miles on it, like new , but did score a 75’ Audi 100S (HOC770N) factory black with 20,000 miles on it for £350 that I restored with all new Audi panels (2 wings 1 door, and a bonnet) cost around £1300 with the paint , then sold it to my nephew that did a knightrider impersonation with it 🤦🏻♂️ those were the days 😆
@@Lot76CARS I looked for months and months at the time for the GT, yes very rare, a bit like the 100S and 3 70’s Audi saloons, the 131 mirafiori sport, Celica ST1600’s etc etc. Ce la vie 🤦🏻♂️
The ford probe was a disaster. As you know it was suppossed to fill in the by then missing capri gap.It was too american in styling for us that actually once owned a capri. That mk 5 cortina was nice.Ford totally lost it in the uk by the mid 1980,s.Ok the mk1 mondeo and mk3 granadas saved the day but that was it.Every ford now looks like any other car just in different paint.
