I have not tried that. Look at Jacquardproducts.com and check out the Pearl Ex pigment powders. I have used them in epoxy and they might be fine enough particles to blend into paint, but may not go through an air brush. Thanks for watching!

The silver paint is opaque and the other colors tint it. The mica powder added to anything will just make it sparkle without the tint base needed. It won't be bad, it just won't cover the lure or part with a metallic look.

I would suggest testing it on something before you try it on an important project.

It will reduce the reflectivity of the surface making it appear less intense, until you put a finish coat over the top, and then it will depend on the surface of the finish coat (Glossy, semi...) for the final effect.

Silver and gold make light gold.

Use airbrush paints and they will be ready to use after mixing, or see my video on acrylic paint thinner and use it for thicker paints.

Light brass might be a tough one depending on how light you want it. My first attempt would be a white base, with a small amount on gold metallic and a very small touch of blue, and I am talking a TINY amount. The white gives the base a lighter start than anything, then add metallic gold for the metallic and close color match, but brass is less yellow than gold, so the tiny amount to knock down the yellow in the gold. If you add too much blue, the color will go green, so again, a tiny amount of blue.

Getting black metallic is tough because adding any metallic color to black only reduces the intensity of the black. If you can find a transparent black, then you can add mica powder to it and get the effect. If the black is opaque, then the mica powder will not show through. The only other option I can think of is to mix the three primary colors in metallic paints (Magenta, Yellow, Cyan) together to make black. Great question!

Can metal keychains be painted from these colours??

Start with a bit of yellow and add red a tiny bit at a time until you get the color you are after.

I use a new penny as a color guide. Sorry if you see the color differently.
