I had the song Smooth Operator by Sade going through my mind while watching this. I like your approach toward perfection. If you perfect every variable in every turn, the time becomes less of a concern overall. You know the saying, practice makes perfect? It should be, perfect practice makes perfect. I always enjoy seeing you ride. Stay safe brother.
I’m too old now to be perfectionist rider, but I’m sure trying to practice to keep what I have left for as long as the lord blesses me on this earth..😂🙏I’ll have that song stuck in my head next time I ride! 😂🎶 much love for the cool a$$ comment! Not being corny, but it really warms my heart you and a few others enjoy my videos. It means a great deal to me!!’🤘🏽🤘🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽👍🏽🫵🏽😎😎😎
It's interesting hearing your thought process as you ride through the dragon. I have similar thoughts, especially with ACTIVELY counter steering and looking ahead. Thanks for these videos. Keep em coming, brother. -6
@@Antprilia. always my brother. I do what U do every weekend in my neck of the woods too haha. I’m just not as slick as u but u remind me so much of the mentors I have met over the years out on my local loops
Great job brother. I think you did very well you are smooth in the corners. Wish I was running good the other day. Ended up lowsiding a little over 40mph. Bike is a little sad right now. But im going to get Her in one peace agian.
No sadly I wasn't shredding the dragon. I live in vermont. But I was trying to drag knee and went too low. Yeah should be good hopefully in a couple days. Fingers crossed 🤞
Your lean angles are wild man. If this is you rusty and not trusting the tires, I can't imagine when you're on form. I might take one of my bikes out there this year to make a video for my channel, but I'm gonna look like slow AF comparatively. Ride safe brother.
You should most definitely bring a bike out here and get your beast on!!! Ppl say this place is over rated, but I beg the differ!!! Lol thank you for checking out my video and I will try my best to ride safely out there!! You stay safe out there also my friend!!!🤘🏽🤙🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Curious what your suspension settings are and what you think about the semi-active mode. You're a fast rider but please be careful out there especially when it's cold.
You could run those tyres at lower pressures, try 27 psi cold rear and 31 front ,and feel extra grip if I was at track I'd run 27 psi rear hot and 32 psi front hot .be way grippier lower pressure .
My 9:04 pass’s both way videos were with everything turned off.. I have to use the race timer to shut everything off. I don’t like abs at all..!! But I do love the quick shift and auto blip!!!’😁😁🤘🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽 thank you for checking out my video and I’ll try to stay safe!!🙏
@@Antprilia. Ya I remove my ABS,but for sum riders I don’t recommend it if you’re a beginner.I was really curious if ya use any TC,a little don’t hurt so ya don’t get shot to the moon 😂🙏🏼👊🏼 Thank you my man, appreciate all your content and advice !!!
@jimbostewart1969 when I’m just out there riding, I keep a few of the bells and whistles turned on. A friend said, it’s better to keep it turned on than not need than vice versa!! Lol
They will melt and you’ll be buying another set of tires in a week if you ride hard. I don’t want to run them in 75 degrees or higher, they won’t last at all. But 70 degrees and below outside, they do damn good!!
Yo! Can I do a request from you please! We are heading up from canada in the beginning of May. Can you post 1 slow, boring ride in both directions and comment about the pavement. Hearing lots of differnt things about the condition of the road. I'd love to get an idea on bad spots and I'm sure other would as well.
I rode the sumo most of the season last year.. sumos are soo easy to go fast and soo much fun!! but if I had to pick only one bike to beast, it would be the sport bike!!’🤘🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽😁
@@Antprilia. happy to hear this. If u can conquer a superbike in tight turns like u do, u can conquer any bike. The focus is so intense . That’s why we do it.
Eh not really, everyone weighs different and every tire performs different. Those pressures might be ideal for the canyon/track riders doing triple digits where the dragon is more low speed.
Interesting front tyre pressure is that on slicks they have much harder carcass ,prob cave road legal front tyre in under hard brakes ,wich tyres would you run that pressure in front wondering if I shoukd try it with michelin power performance.
I mostly run only slicks on the dragon, sc1 slicks are my favorite and I know it sounds crazy, I run 32/30 and the beast and the grip is soo nice!!!! I get 2 more days out of them vs race dot’s!!! Crazy!! Lol
Everybody has their own preference when it comes to tire pressure.. I’ve always ran 32/30 cold at the dragon. Some ppl like to run 30/28- 28/26.. I didn’t really have any issues running 30 in the front, even 29, but I just like the feel with 32/30.
There’s air at the gas station. I tried lower pressure on the q5’s, they tore. For the dragon going fast, 32/32 cold is the sweet spot. Now for slower riders, it might be a lil different in psi… ?..
@Antprilia. Got too take tar mac into consideration, Google gingers creek in Australia NSW ,you can do over half rear tyre in 1 day their, running low pressures, I usually wait till centre tyre nearly gone then tow their and finish of sides ,Gota love finishing of the sides 💯
Lean angle of the bike doesn't mean shit! Bad body position and low skill can have a very high lean angle and be slow and dangerous. A proper rider/racer will use his body in order to make the bike lean less and be faster.
@@Vffr1 I'd agree if the nearest motorcycle track wasn't almost 400 miles away and require someone to dedicate their entire weekend or day in order to go to the track.
