LV has the audacity to raise their prices to match up with other luxury brands but can’t pack up our bags with tissue like the other brands do. Love your new Prada ! It is very similar to the Multi Pochette , which I have. I love it so much because it’s so versatile. I can wear everything separately or together but you’re right, it extremely overpriced
Opening a Louis Vuitton box is one of the most underwhelming experiences. Legit just an over sized dust bag thrown into a box. How do they not want to do better smhh
True I can’t deny the enjoyment of opening a new bag or any item and it’s packaged so lovingly and well thought. However, if you were conscious about waste it is also less packaging for an item that doesn’t need it. Which means less to keep when you resell etc. idk both sides of it, I love opening well packaged things so I agree but also feel like we all have a lot of excess waste from some products packaging. I will say I don’t own any designer bags yet and perhaps there is a good reason to package it better maybe they need to be more securely packaged to travel safely?
I got my prada nylon reedition and they threw it in a shipping box. No bag or box or anything. It came super crushed and I was so sad but the purse was fine. I’ve always received at least a box with my LV.

That big is like if Chanel 19 and LV MPA get married and have a child. It would be that bag. 🤣🤣🤣. Probably because I am actually living in Asain and seeing tones of grannies and auntie wearing a bag that looks similar to the re-edition bags at wet market and dim sum restaurant. Yessss girl! You're going to love the re-edition esp knowing how you dress, it's going to work. I haven't stopped using mine since I got it. I switched back into it recently after my Dionysus. 🤭 It's just SO functional and holds so much. And of course for the classic black. ✌️

Omg we are straight twins😭 I have both in the same combos. I absolutely love the beige 2005 something about the leather strap makes the bag for me. I didn’t grab them at the same time but they’re both so perfect I don’t blame you for getting them both. I was close to getting a blue or pink instead of the nude but I love the beige so much. I don’t think I would grab anymore but I have been eyeing the mini Cleo flap

I really love the shape of it. It really reminds me of the first bag my bf then hubby now bought me. It wasn't a prada but a cheap Kmart bag 😂 we couldn't afford anything 20 years ago.
my boyfriend just got me this bag cause he saw me eyeing it and i've been on the fence about returning it or not. i really love the bag but i feel guilty he spent so much on a bag not known for being "classic" or "luxurious" (nylon). i didn't grow up with money so i feel really guilty on spending money on these types of items but i definitely think i'd get my cost per wear on this. seeing how happy this bag makes you is so cute and sweet and reminds me of how i am when i look at this bag too!

:( I love it I’m trying to decide if I should get the lv bum bag in Empreinte or the Prada re edition for my first bag. Both seem really good I kinda like the Lv more because it looks like it may fit more but it’s priced too high to buy new and the second hand ones are a little questionable sometimes.
Ooooo that’s such a hard choice. As a FIRST bag I would pick the Prada re edition because it’s more “all occasion friendly” so you’ll really be able to get your money’s worth! Where as I adore the empreinte bum bag but still at the end of the day it’s a bum bag so it does have a more casual vibe to it.
Hi there! I knew about this bag when it first came out but your video really sparked my interest and yes, I just bought it yesterday! It's been a minute since I shopped at Prada, but after watching your video I was disappointed in my packaging experience: I got a smaller box, there was no ribbon, and there was no tissue paper (like LV). 😭 Can I ask did you go to a freestanding Prada or one within a dept store?
@@maggyxchuu Hmm, maybe they ran out of the ribbon and tissue paper, but he didn't say anything. 🤷🏻♀️ I went for the same exact black nylon. The SA brought out the black saffiano one, but for what I was looking for, the nylon one just fit my needs. I can't wait to use it!
The mini 2005 I have is the cameo beige!! The SA told me that they’re discontinuing the cameo beige soon and replacing it with desert beige. Because apparently cameo is now a seasonal color 😭

I do agree it is on trend right now, BUT I think the shape of the re edition is definitely timeless, signature Prada. My favorite thing is that you can always take off the crossbody strap and make it into an over the shoulder bag which I think is a classic. Have you tried it on instore yet??

This would be one of my first luxury purchases (have alma bb) so I am looking for more practical choices I can wear on the daily for the next 5 years at least without looking dated (like the marmont bags for example).
