Though I don't necessarily agree this tactic be used against foreign tech support guys in general, I would 100% be for using this against scammers. Throwing this idea out there .

I still will never understand why these idiots can't hang up themselves, they always beg the other person to end the call. It's like.. it's a phone buddy.. just end the call your own damn self. Maybe they get penalized if they hang up and thus don't want to even when someone is pranking them?

Thanks for all these videos. I actually have to thanks the scammers because I went on my school computer and checked event viewer for viruses and there seems to be over 55k on this one computer. I should tell my counselor about this problem :)

I called them yesterday and they were on a slow VM (Windows 7 with 512MB RAM) and they didn't notice that I left the Virtualbox Guest CD in the VM's drive....

It is worrying to quantify the number of these so called "scammers", who actually believe they are offering a legitimate service. What we have to remember: is that the company is at fault, not the person on the other end of the phone!

I reported these guys to GoDaddy (their domain name registrar) for terms of service violations. They should also be reported to whoever is handling their credit card payments.

Popups are scam. Totally agree. But, with some of the brands like "Myphonesupport", "zoomsupport" etc, where they don't use popups and get genuine callers where they seriously have a problem. You can't call it a scam. Its all about selling. Same thing happens in every business. Look at real estate. Or simple example, look at a car mechanic. Because, dude even if you go to a car mechanic, he'll also charge you for a problem that's not even there and will tell you a few other problems. So, truth is, people pay for what they don't know how to fix, more or less. Of course, Myphonesupport used deceptive practice to sign us up. But, whenever we need support, we call them as many times and they take care of our stuff.

I feel like I owe you. I'm whitelisting your channel on adblock and I'm subscribing to your channel. It's the least I can do since you keep those fuckers busy so they scam less people. I will be posting this comment on all anti-scam videos I come across. The more of us do this, the better.

Mircosoft security essentials is free software right? Included with windows, I believe. And, the diagnostic software they use is freely available to download, by anyone, too? And they want 359.95? Yea I did this before to troll but It's good that I know how to fix computers I was able to find the spywear hidden in my OS Windows folder disguised as WindowsEx. aka Secret Spywear invisible with the time of installation and date I deleted the whole inter folder along with the other installations from that day I then cleared out my Run and ran my Anti Virus and deleted the melware and Trojans and then Windows automatically updated and fix itself and my computer started running good as new I deleted everything before they were able to take over my device even though the lady I was on the phone with try to put "SYSKEY" on my computer I asked her wtf she was doing and that she had no reason to install shit without my permission then I locked my computer on her and she put a ghost trojan and a shit ton of melwear on my computer so I decided to get them I back I called my friend who was a perfessonial computer engineer and he sent My Phone Support a little surprise installed inside their computers The Conflicker Worm well deserved

You were being kind of a jerk - he was very polite from end to end, did not lose his cool no matter what you said. I think he is misguided - I have seen some of the real scammers and they are horrible, horrible people, not like this guy.
