Very funny! I think your dad was more up for the joke than your mum. From the subtitles I couldn’t tell who was saying what at times. Makes me feel old when you talk about ‘Only getting an A in Further Maths’ - that was the top grade when I did A-levels (nearly 30 years ago). WhenI applied to Oxford, one could choose to sit the entrance exam, and have a low offer (ie. two grade Es) instead of having a sky-high offer. They did turn me down, andI ended up accepting a lowish offer (BCC) from another Uni. I couldn’t really prank my parents about failing that one, not that I’d have thought to do it!
