Just see how it feels to be in Malaysia for a few days Richy, you can always go back to Thailand any day of the week! Remember, it’s your channel, we are all watching your videos because you are authentic! If I speak for myself, keep it that way.. If you want to eat food and film yourself, or whatever just do that..

Back in 1992 I travelled from Bangkok to Surat Thani on my way to Koh Samui it was I think 12 hrs on the train sat on wooden lats bur hey I loved it mate

Sitting here in the freezing UK winter, I'd love to have your dilemma (Samui or keep going south)!! I'd pay a tidy sum to have either of those choices right now! Just keep in mind, that whichever you choose you're living your best life - a life many of us can only dream of having. BIG RESPECT!

Aw mate I feel for you. I’ve been in Asia nearly eight months now, when I went to Northern Vietnam it was 5 degrees. It felt baltic, I know back home that’s standard right now. Thanks again Graham.

I did this trip last year but in the opposite direction, if you do go over the border you could try the perhentian islands, easy to get to and some lovely beaches.. I love that you travel 3rd class. I always do too. Wherever you decide to go tomorrow have a good trip. Loving yr vlogs

When you've found a gem like Pratchup Khiri Khan, you must hate having to move on. Will you be back here for more time do you think? Are the prices for living similar to Kanchanaburi? Glad you you able to get down to the waters edge again - what a gorgeous day too. I can see the difference in the class of trains, from the point of view of enjoying the view and stops. You feel a bit more connected to the world in the 3rd Class. The toilet had the best view of all 😆 More deep fried sandwiches at Surat Thani - I still can't fathom what that would be like. Island life to Koh Samui, or head to Malaysia....it's a good problem to have 😄

Hi Greg, I would have liked to stay longer but my visa was running out and also I need to keep the content fresh. I will be back to go see the monkeys. They’re very distinctive in appearance. I’ve never been anywhere that’s as cheap as Kanchanaburi but it’s a far away. The trains are awesome, so authentic Thailand. It was a hard decision not to go to Koh Samui and yes there are worse problems to have🤣

great video as always richy it’s good you have a care free attitude and just get up and explore everywhere, wish i could do it long term but i miss the rat race snd work after few months, and feel a have responsibilities in UK, that place you just visited looks like a thai town but boring for me i need things to do at night also

Hi Rich, I think you should stay in Thailand. You can build your channel better that way then once it's built up more then you can move to other countries. I always book my hotels by looking through TripAdvisor then from there going to Agoda. If you go straight to Agoda it's more expensive. Found Agoda the cheapest. $15 Australian, less than 8 quid for Hua Hin terminal. Got a pool too 😉. Good luck buddy 🤞

Great, I feel you're pain. Thailand or Malaysia? I found Malaysia underwealming.I did plenty of visa runs to Penang. OK there, but not really Malaysia. I am following your travels and loving it mate. Matt UK.

didnt you do the islands or was it just koa tao, why dont you do the others it cant hurt and do some abandoned videos of resorts etc just left after covid ?? there is plenty in koh pagnan i know a place near thong sala i stayed at massive pool loads of beach huts all just overgrown now, good videos you made exploring old places mate

No problem Gary, I’m always here for info mate. I’m two days ahead of the channel. Currently in Hat Yai and entering Malaysia tomorrow by train. The more you use booking.com the higher your rating goes so you get better deals. I’m on the highest class 3 genius, very cheap mate

Hi Rich, have you eaten the stewed pork leg with rice, eggs, cabbage and you add fresh chillies and fresh garlic, its delicious, khow kha moo i think its called. Snow all over the place where i am in the UK, its freezing, cheers enjoy.

Brining back some great memories for me here Richy, my fist visit to the land of smiles was 1985 so much as changed since then, the main one being the exchange rate, back in 85 if i remember rightly it was about 84 baht to the pound, you couldn't spend your money, happy days. PS DON'T head south lol

Worse case scenario I’ll get to Kuala Lumpur and a flight straight back to Bangkok. My visa runs out tomorrow and I have friends coming to see me in Phuket in early March

After there come straight back up North into the Land of smiles. I’ll be honest my heads stuck right up my arse at the minute thinking about where to go.

Hi, no I’m on a uk visa on arrival for 30 days. Thank you, I loved Kuala Lumpur when I was there and always said I’ll be back to tour the country. Penang looks really good.

why don’t you get to the phillipines and start showing how cheap you can live going to a lot of islands where the tourists don’t go but instead of flying everywhere get 2 day boats etc that cost mega cheap and have some interview with locals etc and get to stay at their houses show us how they live etc

@ronnieburns2670 my OSD is going insane tonight. I’ve just had a word with my self and with friends coming over in March I need to make a visa run. I’m heading from here tomorrow and then to Penang. Worse case scenario I’ll head straight to KL for a cheap flight back and free visa’s renewed. Thank you again Ronnie, your input is class mate and supporting me also is off the map.

So, how is a mentally feeling after 3-4 month in a tropical system Richy? I think only when you will made this trip to feel how is exactly a tropical paradise is start to be a real situation life) i think Sri Lanka is will be best trip - and airplane when you will started to landing will made extra Circle to made a speed less to landing i know - cause when i was landing we was have a storm i was think" yes this is my last trip in my life)) but all is ooK.
